And I'm not that embarrassed by it. Again, the beard will be back in full force in a couple weeks.

run me under 1k. I've never really been into the cheapest build but more into the bang, so somebody else may be in for the cheaper. I did just get a kit on tigerdirect for $230 though, quad core amd, motherboard, case, fan, ssd, dvd drive, psu. I mean it wasn't the greatest of quality and it's about the same as my laptop (minus video) but definitely not bad for the price, since one of those SSD on their own was over $100 and the cpu was $85 itself.
