Been thinking of the adverse effects on my body. Playing FFXI for hours on end will take their toll eventually. I have started running for like a good hour or sometimes more before logging on and lfp, farming, etc. Has anyone else found ways of not becoming a the stereotypical fat *** gamer? lol
a few ways of not being the "stereotypical fat *** gamer"
-take regular periodic breaks (usually every 1-2 hours).
-If you have to go to the bathroom, go, that boss/farming run can wait for 5 minutes or so.
-Drink/eat healthy foods while playing (just be sure to keep a napkin nearby so you don't grease up your controller/keyboard)
-Regularly stretch your arms and walk around your desk/chair/couch if you're just standing there not doing anything.
-If you're a "social" person get into a skype call or vent or something and talk to friends while playing
-an unhealthy thing to do is just don't eat and only get food when you feel like you're gonna die from starvation.
-Eat a snickers they got tons of calories
-If you're starting to have body aches or pains in your hands/shoulders, its time for you to stop and take a break for a few.
-If you're sitting at a desk on the PC, don't slouch in your chair.
-consume less beer while playing
-lay off the pizza and the junk food on the weekends on gaming grinds.
-chronic masturbation
-Intensely watch an anime like Bleach while waiting for party
-Stay away from foods that pack on the pounds like triple fudge brownies, french fries, ice cream.
-Eat that fruit salad.
-Exercise regularly
-don't drink energy drinks
-etc etc
