Get ready for a tl;dr
I work at Subway as a manager.
Guy comes in and orders a club (Consists of turkey, roast beef, ham). Tries to tell me that bacon goes on it, I told him bacon is an extra price and doesn't come on a club. He complains for a few moment but eventually understands and we go down to put veggies on his sub. Then he tries to tell me that he wanted a melt instead and that he swore he said he wanted a melt (Consists of turkey, ham, bacon) because bacon goes on it, so I take off the roast beef since a melt doesn't include roast beef and start putting warming up some bacon. He then says that I could have left the roast beef on there and that I was being stingy. I told him a melt does not have roast beef on it and costs extra. He complains even more on how shitty and stingy I am being. Then tells me he wants extra cheese. I explained that extra cheese was 60 cents extra, he complains that I'm trying to break his pockets.
So at the register, he tells the cashier that he got a 6 inch turkey/ham sub. I hear this and I turn around and said to the cashier that he got a footlong melt with extra cheese. The guy flips out saying I was breaking his balls and that he got a 6 inch. I lift his sub up, "This is a footlong, sir."
He eventually paid full price and left with a few crappy remarks about me screwing him over.
After he left, customers behind him were telling me that he was completely out of line. I gave a free cookie to everyone in the line. :D
