I hate it when that happens. :<
Doesn't help that mum wants to defrost the freezer, so there's not even really much frozen to cook at the moment either. ;-;
yeah but i added corn to the rice so its like a meal now :P

I'll start a company, get the funds and we'll build Mobile Suits.
Can we get someone else to code, and I'll design them instead? :I
perhaps, because lol I suck at design too, and I can't code to save my life...
but I have a good understanding of electronics, and hopefully soon robotics :P
Awesome. :I
We should go with the basic suit with optional parts for different situations route.
It'll need to be sturdy, mobile, but still light enough for aerial combat with the right equipment. How's this for the design?
Stop right there.
The Leo was in use for 20 years before the super powered Gundams came along, and even after that they still held their own against everything that wasn't a Gundam; they were far from shitty. :I
lol, didn't think it was quite that long, but even they were phased out by newer models.
Yeah, it's called the Leo IV. :D
And it's pretty much a mass produced Tallgeese from the looks of things.
Although, knowing Frozen Teardrop, it probably incorporates nanotechnology somewhere.
It'd start a couple of years before the Gundams showed up.
You'd be a new recruit in the OZ military, and you'd pilot a basic Leo against enemies in Leos, Aries, Cancers, Pisces, etc.
As you progressed, you'd get the option to upgrade your mobile suit with custom weapons loadouts, optional parts (like the flight pack, or hi-mo pack, or cannon shoulders), or even switch to a different model.
At the end of the game, during the last mission, you'd get an SOS from an OZ base nearby, and as you approach, you see this.
It's like nothing you've seen before, and you can do almost nothing as it tears through your allies with no problem. Your objective in this mission would just be to survive with as many squad members still alive as possible until Zechs arrives with reinforcements.
This idea brought to you by the 4chan institute of dreams that will never come true. :I

I just don't like that they require such bulky transports, makes them easy targets unless you have constant slow guard etc.
All mobile suits require bulky transports, though; it's not a flaw unique to the Leo lol.
But their mobility is severely low, and not all do :P
The Leo Zechs uses to disable the Wing Gundam in episode 1 would disagree with the low mobility part of that. Besides, that's what the hi-mo pack is for.
And if you're transporting Mobile Suits using anything other than their own power, they all require bulky transports. No exceptions.
Zechs is no ordinary pilot either, not to mention atmospheric entry.
Also: I meant they can't really go anywhere on their own power, while most others can, maybe with a pack though.
That's true; Zechs is the only competent pilot in OZ. That makes a bit of a difference, but Heero isn't an ordinary pilot either.
And the Wing Gundam is designed for aerial combat, and Zechs is in an unmodified Leo without so much as a flight pack, and still manages to disable the Wing.
We frequently see Leos marching/fighting for extended periods of time, so I wouldn't say they can't go anywhere, and as you said, with a flight pack it could at least match the Aries in terms of operational time/distance.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
