I'm terrified of roller coasters or anything like them. Tilt-o-whirls, those things that go up and drop you, terrified of it all..

Six flags is useless to me.. I wasn't the least bit sad when Astroworld shut down. Most Houstonians were.

omg, Astroworld shut down? When did that happen?

We have this theme park here in Phoenix called Christine's. Well, it's not so much a theme park as it is a cabaret.

You'd probably hate to partner with me then Slip, I have to go on everything. /likeaboss

I wouldn't go. If you somehow managed to drag me on one, when I realized what was going on, I'd punch you in the face repeatedly.. I'm as terrified of being on those things as I am to fly in a plane, and I'd be that guy on a plane.. The one you better just sedate and keep asleep the whole time, or he might freak out and open the door and dive out.

I'm afraid of heights and whatnot, but I loooove to test myself.

One thing I can and will NOT do is eat then go on any spinning rides. I get sick sorta easily.(even though I've never puked on any ride, just nauseous as hell.)

I went to Astroworld in 1993 and in 1994. I remember holding Bugs Bunny so Elmer Fudd could capture the wabbit finally. Ah, those were the days.

Idk why but this nerve medicine I'm taking for some reason I'm smoking more then usual :/

I'm not a fan of heights but I don't really have a problem with them.. I'd rather stay low if possible, but if I have to, I have no problem getting 50-100 feet off the ground.

My problem has to do with with the g-forces. I don't care how many times a day they're tested or how often people are on them and how small my chances are for being on the one ride where the bolts give out and the car goes flying off the track or the safety harness doesn't latch.. There's a lot of force exerted from a mechanical standpoint and at some point it's going to fail, history has taught us that failure can and will happen when we least expect it.

Minus g-forces the same thing extends to planes.. If I was flying it myself, I might be a bit better about getting on one.. But I'm not handing my life over to some guy, and before it even gets brought up, when a car crashes, it remains on the ground, a plane hits the ground at hundreds of miles per hour, usually for 10,000+ feet. *** that.

i'm scared of everything in existence...but i actually had fun on the Gravitron:



made mom go on it with me, was prolly 15 years ago or so. as we started getting pulled to the ceiling, my hair clippy was digging into my head from the g-force, and i finally manage to get my arm up to remove it, and my hand "fwacked" against the wall.

right about then my moms all "wooOoOooOoooooah!" and i look over just in time to see the board she was layin on shoot straight up LOL

My cousin and I use to attempt to do sit-ups and push-ups and pretend we were training Dragonball Z style.

If a pilot and crew are willing to go up in a plane, then I am too. That's the way I've always viewed it. If the pilot decides to wig out, he'll be subdued by the other 2/3 co-pilot and navigator and they'll take over.

If they all fall ill to food poising from the fish they ate..

Yes it's a fact of life that we're handing other people our lives constantly, but riding a roller coaster isn't necessary. If it were a necessary aspect of my life, I would classify it an irrational fear. The fact that it's very purpose is to scare you until you piss yourself and that it's not in any shape or form necessary means I'm not risking it.

Just for the record I've been on a few at different points in my life, it's not like I'm not speaking from experience. I've never been on a plane, but I can pretty confidently say I'd have to be drug on board against my will and you better keep me restrained or sedated or something's gonna happen. Not the same for roller coasters.. I've been there and lived that and I know the result. I actually know what a near death experience feels like, I've been near death a few times, I know the terror that's felt during and I know how I felt afterwards, how it completely changed me.. Roller coasters do the same exact thing to me.

No no no >.< I've had several near death experiences in my life. Car wrecks, slitting my wrist (unintentional), overdose to name a few. I'm just one clumsy, dumb son of a ***.

I've been on several roller coasters. If it's worded in a way that's confusing I apologize I have a wife nagging me to get in bed and any second now she's going to start with the 'goddamnit are people wrong on the internet' thing again (her go to thing for why I'm still typing when she wants me in bed).

Although I was on a carny roller coaster (was big considering it was for a carnival) that the track *** buckled and snapped off and the front of the car ran into the track and we all nearly fell 10 feet or more..

That was well after I had established a fear though, it wasn't the cause, although it surely didn't help matters.
