It was an actually not-bad costume. It looked cool, relic version.
If I weren't tubby, I would wear it.

Well I still think Austar is male, so it's okay. Niniann said as much one time to me.

Aww I missed the drg/lancer nerd talk XD It's never too late to chip in to a conversation in RT; people have responded to stuff much further back than the DRG talk after all. :I

My ex was very attractive and had some... particularly lovely assets, and yet she refused to do it with the lights on. It had to be pure dark, and she said she was embarrassed. That sucks for me because I'm a bit of a visual guy, not to mention I was bumping into things. I mean like... pitch black, here.

7, Cid was good because his top limit break was a multi hit, which put him up top with Cloud, Tifa and Yuffie (using her lv 3 against one mob is 20 hits if I remember right)
9, I never really got into but Freya was always good for me since her jump kept required healing down against AoE happy mobs
X, I'm on board with you, Kimahri was more of a blue mage then drg. I will admit that it was interesting that you get to chose his path of development unlike the other characters who had very distict progression in their section of the grid.
11, the dragon always just seemed like decoration to me except for soloing /whm. More often then not it was downed by AoEs by anything importent or was waking up slept mobs against groups.
13 if you want to count Fang as the drg for having a lance type thing + Highwind... Highwind was good if you wanted to see big numbers, but since it could only be triggered while controling her it wasn't worth losing out on Lightnings "All For One"(?) since it was beastly if you swaped her to commando during the slowmotion animation.
14 given the lore behind it there is absoluety no reason they should have a dragon pet. Dragoons and dragons are mortal enemies, dragons being able to influence and twist the will of men and women to do their bidding and appearing every few decades to lay waste to Ishgard. Honestly I doubt most of the people arguing that drg should have a dragon because it is a drg didn't even read the CSs, wouldn't really be suprised. Ontop of that if they were given a dragon it would either have to be too weak to be worth bothering with or the drg them selves would have to be powered down or else it would simply be too strong.

Urg. When I woke up on Wednesday, I had a headache and a swollen, sore lymph gland in my neck, which I blamed on smoke inhalation because of some fires outside town. With an aspirin, the headache went away and I proceeded to ignore the swollen gland, figuring it'd go away on its own when it was done doing whatever it was doing.
It's now Sunday and the gland is still swollen and tender to the touch. Every time I google it (because google is totally a doctor!) it lists swollen glands with hordes of other symptoms that I simply don't have. There's no neck-ache, no headache, no sore throat, nothing. Just one swollen, tender gland.
My husband said maybe I need my tonsils taken out, to which I say
My tonsils are happy right exactly where they are, thank you! But there just seems to be no logical reason to have one random swollen gland. Wtf are you doing, gland?

See a doc about it if it persists for a week, or if you know, you feel like you're going to perish.

psh, there's nothing immediately wrong with my tonsils (that we can see, I still have a sore throat and all) and I'm just opting to get them out my tonsils seemed to have gotten these big pits and ***in them that catches food and stuff... which is why I was getting so sick probably (bad bacteria and whatnot)
I'll be better off without them i'm sure~

It probably is better to get them out. I'm just a big pansy. Took me 2-3 years to consent to getting my wisdom teeth removed. :-( I don't like surgery! Don't like being knocked out and at the mercy of people I don't know who are fiddling around my mouth and throat. That is MY mouth and throat!

I've been anesthetized 5-6 times in my life so far. I'm pretty use to it.

Only twice for me so far. And I'm happy to leave it at that. :-( First time I was in 1st grade, I had a humongous gap between my two top front teeth, so my parents took me to this one doctor guy who knocked me out, pinned my upper lip back, dug up into my upper gum, and sliced a 'growth cord' (that's what he called it) to make the teeth grow back together. I had to get 5-6 stitches in my upper gum.
Then I had to be completely knocked out for my wisdom teeth too. They had to break them to get them out, the ones on top were bunched right up against my sinuses and the ones on bottom were both really close to a nerve in my jaw. I had to get stitches over the gaps from those, too. I was on Vicodin for a week afterwards and loopy as a bird. ~.~

I've been drinking hot tea for the past week, it's helping for sure~ just makes me pee like a horse :|
Dr gave me amox to clear up whatever infection I have now and in a few weeks I should have two less parts in my body.

I've been put under at least that many times in the past year :|

Wisdom teeth is the only time I've had a sugery type thing, they used an IV to do it which idk if thats normal but I remember nothing from it, supposedly I was not unconcious. One moment I was talking to them as they were getting me ready, then the next thing I remember I was in a bed in another room which, again supposedly I walked to. Then more blank and I was in the car, blank again and collapsing onto the coutch. After that no more blanks but the next thing I can remember was getting up and staggering to the sink to change my gauz, idk if I was supposed to do that but I did it anyways.

I was unconscious when I got my wisdom teeth out. Wisdom teeth were the only time I got it through an IV though. I like it through the IV more. That was the only time I've been anesthetized, and didn't puke afterwards.

I've been put under once for the surgery on my ankle, and I felt like crap when I finally woke up. I got this feeling like I was going to spew all over everything, so I got the nurse to grab me a bedpan. I felt it coming up, convulsed a bit, got ready to vomit and then belched out the loudest, longest burp that I've ever made or even been around. Like seriously, the hospital shook. Afterwards, I felt like a million bucks. Well, until I felt the pain in my leg.

I should clarify that I mean general anesthesia. I've been given general anesthesia at least 5 times that I can remember. I don't think I've ever had local anesthesia.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
