It's a term skaters (typically skateboarders) use for people who primarily use rollerblades.

Skate could mean anything, I used to skateboard hardcore and inline skaters and skateboarders just said let's go for a skate.

I used to be an addict! Come in from school go straight round the abandoned playground with my buddy and skate for hours on makeshift ramps and rails! Then in for a game of Tony Hawks and youtube skate videos :D

They are not good enough to go on my youtube account, that's for video projects only atm!
