Random Thoughts.....What Are You Thinking?

"I'm, um, what... where am I?" You ask while still drifting in and out of consciousness.

There is a deep throbbing pain in your tummy that is masked by the pain in your head. You feel like going to sleep but something keeps waking you.

A woman leans over you with blood dripping down her chin.

"Hang in there sweetie," she says, "Just a few more minutes is all I ask."

You have no idea who she is but from the look of her robes it's probably Queen Osberga herself. She is holding something bloody in her hand then puts it onto her mouth and swallows it whole.

"This may finish you off," she says as she reaches down, "But I'd really appreciate it if you try to hang in there just for while longer."

Your vision blurs and you shake your head as something tugs against your belly.

The Queen leans over you again.

"I'll always remember you," she says, "I've never had anyone last as long as you before."

As she bites into a bloody lump you realise what's going on. You're being eaten alive. It's only your concussion that's preventing you from feeling it.
