I'm assuming I'm depressed, but I'm not unhappy per se. I don't have any emotions at all, nor do I have motivation to do anything.
Sounds about right. Depression isn't just being unhappy and emo and sad.
But not wanting to do anything, being bored with whatever it is you are doing. Just not being able to to really enjoy something even if it is something you like to do (sounds awkward, but if you feel it you understand).
I don't push forward due to motivation. I push forward, so that I won't regret this period of my life later on. I guess that could be considered motivation, but I don't ever feel a real sense of motivation.
Gimp is 100% right. Good friends/family are the best medicine. Even a friend whom you don't even know in real life can help a ton if they are caring enough to actually listen.
I think that is why therapy helped... I mean all I ever did was talk about my day and things that annoy me.
Honestly, I doubt I would be alive right now if I hadn't met my wife.
my only motivation i found for school is being about to move out :P been working so far!
You'd think that'd be my motivation too but I'm still here, argh.
well im still going to be here too lol gunna take a long time but i need some sort of motivation lol
I try to think about how it felt to have my own place but then I remember I was still living with someone and, yeah. :/ You remember that mess.
you forget how easy and nice it is to live with your parents until you leave :P but ive left before and know what its like lol i really love my mom but thats probably the only reason id visit when i left lol
You have to experience depression to understand it, imo it's a unique mindset for every individual, but you will know it if you have it for real because alot of people are very quick to label themselves as depressed just because they can't be bothered or they are having a bad few days etc. It's not something that happens overnight.
Don't look at their eyes, stare at their mouth, then work up to the tip of their nose, and then try and make eye contact. If all else fail, looking at someone's lips while they are talking is acceptable for most occasions.

but i can tell when people arent looking at my eyes lol >_> so they could tell too lol

Try and be a little more subtle then just oogling their nose lol.
But looking at the table or the floor or whatever can upset people. Also helps a ton for job interviews and such.
i used to not like seeing them looking at me because i could see them looking at my pimples or other things besides my eyes lol >_> now i have no pimples but still i dont wanna look lol

Some things you will just have to take with a grain of salt. As I have gotten older I have started to care significantly less about what others think of me.
I am able to look people in the eyes, it just takes a little, uh... effort. :x
It's hard for me to do sometimes when it's a casual environment or encounter. I'm an angry person and I hide it so I'm very serious and I'm an individual(in lack of a better word) so I know people get a strong whiff of it if I look into their eyes.
However if we're discussing something serious I look straight into your eyes because I focus all of my attention on trying to understand you (which has bothered some people in the past lol)
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
