It's not the ethanol.. I'm not really going to try and dispute what she says, because she's tasted it before when there's no way she could have known it was in it on a couple of dishes, and from a technical stand point, it should have been nothing more than a very subtle taste (pretty much impossible to discern to the normal person) but she still knew..
I don't over-use it or anything, after the first couple of times I even gave it extra time to cook off the alcohol, she can still tell.
Yeah I dunno how either, she should have a job as a taste tester or something <_<
