In here it's considered a form of good hospitality to offer your guests A LOT of food. However it's also considered offensive when this food is refused. So if you're host of an italian family you'll be forced to eat more than you ever had. There's a reason I stopped going to her house when I was invited.
But I can't talk much, we do the same thing here in the south.

So like...I got these two huge massive homework assignments (kinda exaggerating) like 20 problems each assignment but the work to get the answer is soo tedious and time consuming. takes me like 10~15min to solve 1 problem sometimes. :| anywho. I did most of it all today. and the first one is due this sunday and i got 9 problems left (but we haven't covered the rest of the material in class yet) and the other one i have about 4 or so left and I'm stuck and i'll just have my friend or visit my professor so they can help me learn it or what not.

annoyed sisters bf woke up and wont stop using netflix lol now i cant play aion without lagging and not being able to move :( wish there was an easy way to make the desktop have priority on the bandwidth

I was a guest at a family who was very uneasy with us eating their food, and it ruined the whole trip. It really made us feel unwelcome as a whole, and we ended up leaving three days ahead of schedule. It was Thanksgiving no less.

its severely rude and impolite and an insult on the cook/chef/person_who_made_the_food if its meal isn't completely finished in asian cultures >.>

i wasn't a fan of aion, was just kinda uninteresting to me =/
1.22b hit today in xiv, so excited :3 but i'm even more excited for 2.0 after seeing those screenies.
also yes, in the south big meals are common and expected. one of our more interesting traditions is that when a someone dies, it's expected for you to bring the family food while the preperations for the funeral and burial are made.

aion always has something to do, well at least at low levels lol tons of quests that gives tons of exp and monies! leves in ff14 didnt give much of anything D:< PVP in later levels of aion is gunna be awesome too :x

Nooooo! My husband and I wanted a new series to watch, so for our anniversary we ordered Spice and Wolf, seasons one and two, to get here in the mail. We've never seen it, but it looks fascinating, not that it will measure up to Trigun, Samurai Champloo, or Cowboy Bebop, mind you.
Amazon was having issues and sent the two DVDs separately, no problem. Except season two is here and season one is not! Gah! We can't watch season two first, that's just sacrilegious!
First world problems. >.> I tell you what.

Aw :-( we don't get Netflix. We had them forever and a decade ago when they sent DVDs to our house, and we didn't really take full advantage. It took a couple weeks for us to get around to watching a movie and sending it back, so we ended up averaging about 2 DVDs a month and it wasn't worth the cost so we stopped. That was before the Xbox streaming thing, but we just never got around to getting it back after we stopped using it the first time. ;;
