wiring could be bad but unlikely.
well if it does it on one card and not the other I'd say it's one of these 3 thiings. 1. drivers 2. faulty card 3. psu. I mean upgrading your psu is never a bad thing if you have the cash, then you have a spare if it's not it. get modular, they're amazing.
