I would't mind so much if the thing wasn't so smooth, my thumb slides off and goes into a weird position >_> If that makes sense

I can't email stuff on my phone (no idea how to get it to work lol) but I send pics as a normal MMS but to an email and that seems to work.

LOL. XD I just took a keyboard to the knee..
They *** up, and sent me two keyboards. One has a built in Hand cooler, extra USB port, etc. Other one's a crappy normal Keyboard.

What would be a good starting line up for getting an Xbox 360?
I already picked out the single player games I know I'll love and can play and abide to on my own terms, but I'd also like a few titles that are a bit more emphasized on multiplayer and online co-op. Any suggestions?
I'm on the fence about call of modern battlefield halo gears.
But I'm sure with friends and a bit more practice I can learn to enjoy online gameplay rather than rage quitting at the frustration of dying 592038532985023958 times.
Probably why I like single player games the most.
Ambitions of others tend to spoil the fun-factor in playing the game to begin with.

Halo series, Blue Dragon, Bioshock are all must haves. Do not get COD whatever you do. Gears of War is also a good shout for online capabilities but I doubt it is as fun as Halo, honestly the multiplayer on Halo is nothing short of hilarious at times.

Picking up Skyrim, L.A. Noire and Lost Odyssey for my single player indulgences (to start).
The Xbox I'm getting comes with a free Halo Reach download code, which I could give to my friend and I can just pick up a copy myself so we can play online co-op. It also comes with Fable 3, which I'm sure will make a lovely paperweight.
Oh and I am most certainly picking up Scott Pilgrim the game off of XBL, cause it's awesome as it is difficult :3

Yeah Fable 3 is a much better game than L.A. Noire.
Whether it was watching Perry Mason or L.A. Confidential one too many times, something about playing detective just feels right up my alley. Especially since it's taking place in 1940s LA which is pretty rad in it's own right. I have to applaud Rockstar for delving into new waters of the gaming genre and delivering something stellar and unique. Granted it's not for everyone, but it strikes a chord with me, so it's a must own in my books.
And it's not so much the concept or basis for Fable 3 that bugs me, it was the manner in which it was presented that turned it into an utter disappointment for me.

More point out how much you're underestimating Fable 3.
My only complain with that entire game is *** Balverines.
Not that they're OP or anything, but late game they are EVERYWHERE!

You will enjoy L.A. Noire more than Fable, Fable is the most overrated RPG series on xbox. It's not bad, but it's not great by any means. Skyrim, well if you're a fan of the Elder Scrolls then sure, if you are just getting it because everybody else has it you are wasting your money.

A game's critical acclaim doesn't change or negate any of it's inner workings or content or how well they were conceived and delivered. Some games are worth their hype, while others, not so much. It depends on your personal experience with it. Not everyone is gonna be interested in closely examining clues around a crime scene to solidify accusations towards potential suspects. And not everyone is going to feel at home dungeon crawling swinging axes and blasting magic at undead creeps and spiders.
I love Skyrim because it was a well done, beautifully executed and overall extremely entertaining game title. Not because everyone says so, or because I'm an Elder Scrolls devotee. It is what it is, and it is great.
I love L.A. Noire because it is a new, unique genre that dives into a nostalgic and detailed world from our pages in history that provide a great deal of entertainment and dramatic grit that feels just as awesome as the first time I saw all those awesome detective movies and shows from before.

Oh I was just worried you were doing what you did for FFXIII before you played it.
By Artemicion 2012-04-03 17:21:11
I gave up on XIII before I even got halfway through.
I couldn't stand the melodrama or awkwardness of each character.
Let alone the alienating absence or perversion of previous FF elements that made the franchise enjoyable to begin with.
I kind of regret it though, because I really do want to dart around Grand Pulse, as it looks magnificent in it's own right.

They grow through the game really.
I personally like the characters because they are human not people with unreal emotions.

While JRPGs at their core aren't that great and tend to be overwritten and melodramatic in nature, I couldn't get over the fact that XIII ignored the very things that made the genre tolerable to begin with. It's as if they embraced what makes the genre terrible to begin with and swung with it. While I'll likely have to play some more to discern whether character development is legitimate or simply puppeted from plot devices.
Not to say that hasn't happened in the past, but plenty of FF titles have had enriching character development that were just given the circumstance and gravity of the situation. FF9 is a perfect example of that in my opinion.

They were unmemorable and cliche from the getgo, so I lost interest pretty quickly. As to what kept my attention for FF8 is beyond me. Perhaps it was Selphie's goofiness that kept me trucking past Squall's brooding angst sprees. But I couldn't retain any level of interest in the motives, thoughts, personality or backstory to any of the characters in 13.
They simply felt uninspired :(
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
