You're not being hostile? Half my family are/were teachers and my brother is a p.e. teacher and you just called him a moron. You do nothing yet and yet you judge...
and I was supposed to know this how?
I didn't start of by making personal attacks on you, you shouldn't either.
not many buy books, and currently publishers are attempting to hold on to an old business model and wonder why they aren't making money.
Also, there shouldn't be much room for the arts, it's sad that so many people in college in the US go for "arts" instead of science/math/a stable profession.
Well, you know. Right hemisphere, left hemisphere and all that. I look at numbers and equations and I just want to rip it all up and light it on fire. It would be the same thing if I told you that if you want to get ahead in life you need to be an artist, and math or science won't do anything for you. It's unfortunate, yes. But for me and the way I think, there isn't another way.
you left out a part sir...
It's kinda unfair to call a p.e. teacher a moron :/ ok it's not a job that requires a college degree but alot of p.e. instructors are ex military or personal trainers too, so it's disrespectful to say something like that.
how is it unfair?
most are...

Lol.
This is the part where I stop taking you seriously.
why's that?
most arts degrees won't get anyone anywhere, they are almost as worthless as a basic business degree.
If everyone was in science and math then there would be an over-saturation of degrees in those fields so there wouldn't be a damand for that stuff anymore. Suddenly the arts either are paying more money or stop existing. Then we fall into a depression and all the unemployment because there aren't enough jobs for all the people who have math and science degrees.
again, people keep leaving out the third thing I said, and technology creates jobs much faster than "arts".

You know, I'm a fatass that tried to get out of as much PE as possible because HS boys are ***. I didn't
like my PE teachers, by any means.
But you know what, those HS PE teachers are usually coaches, too. Those guys get in at 6:30am and get the trackies on the field running. They are there planning logistics like nobody's business. They're pushing paperwork for every single student registered, and they do classes.
They're thinking up football strategies. They're figuring out cost effective ways to repair the field. They're trying to figure out logistics you may never have to.
I never liked my PE teachers, but I'll be damned if
anyone can get away with calling them dumb or lazy, because they aren't. They get in almost as early as the security guards and they get out with the last haul of them.
They work damn hard, and they use their brains more than you know.
they have to because it takes more of their brain to figure out all that stuff when somebody who knew math could do it in about an hour.
football is worthless and a waste of time, I don't give a ***about coaches, that's all extra stuff anyway.

He generalized on something that he probably knows nothing about... Does it come from experience with what... his one HS and one GS P.E. teacher? What makes P.E. teachers generally morons? Many of them have college degrees... and lead good lives. So tell me what makes him qualified to make that sort of judgement? Also, whether or not he specifically calls my brother a moron or not... he lumps him into a group that he believes, on the most part, are morons.
I don't know what *** backwards school you must of went to but I've had dozens of teachers from numerous schools, and they are all the same.
not to mention the original statement was a joke I heard, which even I said I don't agree with it entirely.
I made no personal statements, there's no reason to take any of it personally.
me being a human with a brain makes me qualified, it doesn't take a specialized degree to realize whether somebody is a moron or not.
I don't lump him in any group, I don't know him, it's not my fault he ended up doing that.
