Also, I dunno what it's like in Americaland, but in Britland, company drivers are only allowed to drive for a certain amount of time a day, then they have to have mandatory breaks, so that may affect it. I've never been one to go out, but I've found that (once your friends are old enough) bars are the way to go. You're basically just hanging out, and you can play pool/darts/whatever they offer. Makes for an easy way to socialize, even if you're not very outgoing (like me!). You could also try something like a sports bar (Buffalo Wild Wings, Rooster's, um... I don't know what's outside the midwest) on a night when there's some big sports event going on... Your friends couldn't sit at the bar area, but you could still get tables and find opportunities to meet other people. my computer has a crush on yoko...
