I'm still waiting for my glasses to get in, the new frames I wanted distorted my lenses so much my vision was SO bad (even with the same prescription lenses) so I went to another place and found some better frames.

So, after getting bored playing FFXI for a bit, I've been looking for a free-to-play MMO to occupy some of my free time. Not looking for something to put a lot of time into, just something to play when I'm bored with nothing else to do.

I played Forsaken World for a few levels and it seemed TOO casual. (Not sure where to go for the next part of your quest? Just click the icon on your map and you'll run there automatically!)

I've played a few levels of Aion. Doesn't seem bad so far, but only having two races is kind of disappointing.

I've also seen advertisements here for D&D Online, LotRO, and something called Rise of Dragonian Era (which seemed like a neat concept, but had pretty cheesy narration in the trailer).

I also looked into League of Legends, but it was too comic book looking for my taste.

Any thoughts?

They keep trying to change the GM support, but with every new patch it ends up being the same thing. The graphics are incredible, though.

The NPC AI is vastly overrated too.

This is my main reason for dropping FFXI at the moment. Planning to make better use of my time in the "Outside" MMO.

I'm just hoping for something fun to pass my time when I'm really really bored. Might just stick to Aion though... Not like I should be playing a ton anyway, and I have a friend who said she plays, so at least I'll have someone to talk to on there.

I was just hoping someone on here would know of something new and amazing that I hadn't considered yet. :o
