But like some other people, I have a high metabolism, so even if I tried, it's no use. I also have a very, very small appetite. I could eat about three slices of a basic pizza and be good to go for a day. c.c

Hey everybody!

A friend is just back in my life fresh out of prison.. Needless to say, my last couple of days have been eventful <_<... No, no crazy ***per say, but I definitely won't be forgetting them.

Hopefully your friend stays out. Last person I knew to get out of prison, is already going back and he's only been out 3 months. Stupid *** just can't stay away.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't have my doubts.. But he's not really the prison type, as hard as he tries to play, he's as scared as I am of it.. Fear is a great motivator..

Although.. At least unless he's full of ***, he does still have 2 years parole... I don't think he is though.. I mean he was definitely locked up, for quite awhile (years) and there's really no reason to doubt he's on parole..

Probation/parole, they basically sit back and wait for you to *** up... Hell I got caught once drinking alcohol while on probation, and I was basically looking at 'serving out my term'.. I wasn't even on probation for drug or alcohol related charges.

The guy I know was in for 7 years for being busted with marijuana with intent to sell. Forget how much he had on him but it was a lot. Anyway, he was recently busted with quite a bit of crack on him and he was high on it when busted. I always told him he didn't need to be bothering with it, but he just had to go pick a fight with someone. He wasn't really my friend so I couldn't care less, and honestly he is the type that actually "fits in" in prison.

/sigh

Some people just never learn.


Anyway, how you doing tonight/this morning?

Prison is a tough place to get through and to get over. I don't know where you and your friend are located, but here in Texas the recidivism rate is around i think ~20%. That's not bad but still not good. I work for the prison system here and let me tell you, it's rough inside the pen. Granted it's a lot different than what people think, but it's still a rough road to go down. When you get out, depending on how long you've been in, it can be even harder. One of the cooks at my unit has been in for 35+ years, he's getting out pretty soon. He doesn't have a clue about any modern technology or anything like that.

All I can say is be there for your friend and help them through this tough time, cause they're going to need it. It's so easy to slip back into old habits and end up right back in there. :/ Good luck to you though!

I'm pretty drunk atm.. I don't really understand it, but when me and him get together, drinking a beer might as well be chugging a bunch of liquor... Somehow me + him = amplified effects.. Not that I'm pushing my limits, I've drank way more before he was back and was just fine... Somehow it just goes further. I dunno it's weird.

I'm still adjusting though.. I've known him since we was a kid, but me and him always got a long in this weird way, he moved away, had a kid, got married and then got thrown in prison, he had no where to go where he was, so he had to come back here when he got out, he came back, and he's so much bigger than I am ; ; we can also technically go to a bar together now, without him getting an X on his hand.. Just weird.

We're in Texas, but he was in Montana.

It's so easy to tell when you're drunk Slip lol. At least it's pretty easy for me to tell. I'd imagine the reason you're more easily affected when you're around him is that you're having a real good time and stuff, so the alcohol causes your brain to release endorphins much easier. Ergo, your endorphin levels were already higher than normal just by being around your friend and catching up on old times.

Just a guess though, I'm not a med student or anything.

Bigger as in fatter or bigger as in buffer? Cause both kinda happen in there. The buff ones are damn sexy too xD

It will be a bit of an adjustment period but yall will get through it. It will be easier when yall aren't drunk too :P

Sounds pretty plausible.. I mean all we really do is laugh and ***.. Could go one step further and say subconsciously I expect to be smoking a bowl or a joint as soon as I see his face, I can't say we 'grew up together', but might as well have.. For years and years, if he was around, so was a bowl..

That's another concept I'm trying to adjust to... For obvious reasons, he's not smoking.. But that expectation and behavior is so imbedded it's hard to wipe out my mind.. lol.

Bigger as in taller and buffer.. The last time I saw him, he was barely 18, and barely my size.. He's now like 6 inches taller, and a hell of a lot more buff.

Also, to go to bed now would be to wake my wife up when she's got to get up soon anyways... I have a courtesy cut off where I won't get in bed after a set time, which is like 2-3 hours before wife has to get up.. If I'm not in bed by then, I just wait til she has to get up.

It's Slip, he's the RT drinker. If anyone is going to be drunk, it's Slip. :P

Aww that's so thoughtful! My bf is in houston this weekend otherwise I'd probably be gone by now lol.

All I'm thinking is I woke up and I'm cold so I got in the tub and all my dreams flooded back so now all I wanna do is cuddle. This is some damn good medication. x_x I made a sub to put in the oven later, so I'm sure that'll help drum out some innuendo. XD
