Exactly. That's a way to lose motivation really quick. The best way to do it is to have a daily/weekly goal and to do it with other people. That way you know some are just as miserable as we are. lol

I had a buddy in HS who was 6'4" and 135 it took him awhile but by the time he hit 25 he finally got up to 190 ish MAn that guy was skinny in HS.

Yeah. I'm short with a small bone structure so it's not really noticeable, but I am underweight for my size. 5 feet, 1 and one half inches tall, 105 pounds. It fluctuates though, I'll hit 108-109 on a good day. ^^ Since it's such a small amount that I'm underweight, I haven't concentrated on trying to gain weight. It's also in my family, my dad, siblings, my grandparents (before they passed) and most of my cousins are a bit scrawny.

I never got the whole HS bullying thing. Not much of it at all in my school or at least I wasn't around it. I sat at the table for kids who had nowhere else to go too lol.

I'm not really sure what got him up but he took up kickboxing and started to eat a higher protein diet but yeah...

I have the same problem. :/ Genetics are genetics. The women on my mom's side are a spindly breed, and eventually I stopped caring. Didn't appreciate being called anorexic in HS though. If your BMI is on target, there's not much to worry about.

If there was a gym nearby or something I don't think I'd have as much of a problem, but I'm not traveling 70 miles and paying outrageous membership fees. The nearest gym is about 40 miles and it's a piece of ***with all kinds of broken, unsafe equipment.

I hear ya on that. I had this trainer back in the day dude was insane. When I met him he was probably 5 7 and 240 all muscle and one day he decides he wants to run a marathon I swear the guy lost like 60 pounds of mass in what seemed like a day lol changed so quick.

According to the calculator I found, I'm 1.3-1.8 under "normal weight" BMI. Varrying because I'm not sure of my exact height. Genetics are a *** some times, though I'm much happier being "underweight" than being "obese" or something.

Every time someone says something snarky like that to me I always think of what my dad used to tell me when I would *** about stuff. "They probably just had a bad day" I know it seems kind of simple but it always got me to settle down and think hey you know maybe they did.

Like maybe that lady is unhappy because her b/f called her fat and then she just took it out on you because you were what she wants to be!

Idk I just kinda run off with how things might be because I have an active imagination at times..

I know, but a skinny person will have a much easier time than an obese person or anything, while the "in shape" person could probably be at the top floor ahead of all of us. No denying a fit person is the winner and the better zone to be in.

I know, but a skinny person will have a much easier time than an obese person or anything, while the "in shape" person could probably be at the top floor ahead of all of us. No denying a fit person is winner and the better zone to be in.
Sometimes you'll see someone with a belly outdo a skinny person as well lol... It really all depends on where someone is. In general you're probably right though.

One thing to keep in mind is that results are never instant. Like all work it can be tedious and sometimes you'll work really hard and barely get anything out of it. You can't imagine how pissed I was that working out really hard on my running for 4 weeks only netted me around 8 seconds on my mile and a half run, but that was still an improvement. Of course, after about 9 weeks of this I improved by about a minute and 22 seconds, soooooo yeah, the longer you stick with it, the better.

That's a big reason a lot of people don't workout. They can't make themselves feel intense about it. They can't commit to the work that is required. Hence, Workout.

And really, Ruler or Rule or RoD or whatever you prefer to be called... eat peanut butter with every meal. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich with two tablespoons of peanut butter. You'll get larger in about two~three months, especially if you do body resistance exercises like push ups etc. You need not only the calories, but a reason for your body to grow.

Anywho... I need to start getting winded down now. I want to observe Morning Colors tomorrow, so I should get some sleep. Blegh, I'll probably be posting again in 5 minutes or less.
