Not purrty anymore xD I tried to dye red highlights in it and they turned orange as soon as I washed it and so now the whole thing is dyed dark brown to cover the orange and my roots are growing in pale so I pretty much look life a half-emo skunk.
But anyways, that's completely beside the point.
Ugh! That sucks! That's an endless cycle of dying if your roots are lighter than the color you chose. Hopefully, you can find something similar to your natural color at some point in the near future. I wouldn't recommend doing it right away. That could fry your scalp.

I like the brunette though!
Yeah, I'm scared actually. :-( I don't think I'm going to be able to get a job while I'm skunky, because the look overall is just not a professional one. And I don't think I'll be able to get the dark out. If I let someone strip it, the chemicals are going to fry the hair and it will only take the brunette out anyways, I'll still have orange streaks. Dying light over dark is hard unless you use bleach, which is going to fry it. I don't want to touch the roots up because I don't want to keep the dark color, I want to go back natural. And I've been growing it out for two years, so I don't want to hack it off. :-( I'm not sure what to do about it, exactly. So far I'm washing it with Prell because that stuff is harsh and can fade color, but I've used half a bottle and it's not fading at all yet that I can tell.
But I'm glad you like the brunette. ^^ It's sure as heck better than orange! And I look close to my siblings with it, so it's not like it looks horrifically fake and unnatural. It's ok.

That's a conundrum! I'd be afraid of frying my hair too.
Ooh! But I do want to cut bangs. I'm going to wait until we move this summer because I'm terrified to go back to my stylist here (she dyed my hair orange, for goodness sake, and they dyed it neon fluorescent yellow last time I asked for blonde and dyed it green last time I asked for lightish brown) and I'm too squirrely to go to a different stylist here because what if my stylist finds out and feels bad?
So when I move and find some good stylist there to give me bangs, maybe I'll ask them if there's any way they can fix the broken color, too. Maybe!

Actually, that bob in the first one might not be a bad length is you decide to take some off. The only bad thing about bobs is straightening to perfection, and doing it section by section.
Ooh, letting the red grow out and then dealing with the brown separately is a really good idea. I've been trying to think of how to handle them together, and never even occurred to me to wait and handle them separately. Thanks Iro!
My favorite is the 2nd one, and that's the one I'm leaning towards. The first one is really cute, but my hair has almost no texture, it's just smooth, so yeah. It probably wouldn't hold well. Plus I'm just not that punky. That is just the cutest punky style, and I'm just not punky at all. ;;
Sagi's steak is making my hungry! Juicy, medium, fire-cooked. All it needs is a big pile of mashed potatoes on the side. Yummmmmm!
Liela, that second pic you posted reminds me of Selphie.
I have to admit, she had a pretty rad hairdo. Too bad her personality was that of a squirrel overdosed on caffeine and Ritalin.

This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
