Could be psychological, but if that's the case it couldn't explain why the effects are so steadfast and widespread. Not everyone's body/brain is going to react equally per form of alcohol, but there is a vague general effect of intoxication between the various types.

I should use this genuine interest and curiosity of the unknown to my advantage at some point for monetary and career based gains.

Well, to give an intelligent guess. I would assume the chemical composition of the alcohol has to do with it along with the methods of fermentation with various ingredients therein.

Distilled filtration of pure grain such as Everclear is going to give a significantly more potent and pure intoxication to your liver and thus will essentially *** you up far too directly for your brain to make any particular by-products of emotion or behavior other than general incapacity. The rest from there is based on your general demeanor and inclination towards aggressive or passive behavior prior to consuming your drinks.

Beer on the other hand is a bit more complex with the introduction of wheat, barley, hops, sometimes fruit, etc. all mingling and chemically reacting to one another via fermentation and filtering. Perhaps the introduction to these ingredients have a little more wholesome effect to your organs including your brain, akin to a liquid meal so to speak. I'm sure anyone who has had their fair share of beers (especially stouts) have felt rather "full" up to a certain point. Perhaps this has a link to the psychological effect of being happy or at peace with one's self, much like being happy after having finished a hearty hot meal.

And wine is... a horse of another color. I'll think that one out and see what I can come up with >.>

i didnt want to do the report i had to do last week, which i didnt. still have a 98 in the class though. i have to make sure i do everything in my os class though, i missed a db and a quiz one week and it dropped me so hard. i've finally been able to bring my grade up back to a mid B

I'd personally go with the more modern one myself, but there is something about the retro ones that the modern ones just can't capture.

Hmmmm, I wonder how many songs out there successfully capture the type of reverb that mimics an underwater vocal effect and justify it's effect for the song. I can only think of three off the top of my head.

Today was rather interesting. I’ve been 21 for two months, my mom finally had an excuse to take me to a bar to get drunk for two of her friends birthday parties.

I learned a few things on my outing.

-I’m a happy drunk. I was giggling like a school girl for half the night.
-Other drunk people are funny as hell.
-The worlds worst pizza tastes okay when you’re drunk.
-I’m a lightweight. Not that surprising, really.
-I can now dance.
-I’m apparently cougar bait. At one point, I had three fairly older women grinding against me. One grabbed my crotch. Said woman also had me grope her breasts. It was awesome.

Aaaaaaaaand yeah. That was my night. I’m still pretty giggly, actually. I should finish my McDonalds and go pass out. Night!

Oh and as for the whole wine thing. I think a lot of it has to do with grapes and their earthy origins. Grapes are such a complex and unique fruit in their ability to take on their own characteristics and personality in flavor, texture and growth. It sounds silly, but I think the elevated and blissful nature of being drunk from wine has to do with the elements of the soil and the environment it exists in, epitomized in this amazing fruit that ages, develops, changes and matures over years and years to produce a singular product that will never be the same as another bottle made in a different place, at a different time. Unfortunately I cannot explain this in a more scientific matter, but wine sort of holds a harmony of sentiment and process that gives something unlike any other.

When you feel as if your legs gonna explode, yep although, that might just be me, I've been unfit as hell since I started back at uni again.

Wine differs from other alcohols because the amount of sugar used in the fermentation process.

A wet/sweet wine has so much sugar in it that while your body is digesting and processing the alcohol it also has to process the sugar giving you a sugar euphoria along with the intoxication.

For most people that makes them happy / giddy.

A dry wine has sugar in it but not nearly the same quantity.

I was taught how to ferment wine growing up as my father used to make Orange, Strawberry, Pear, and Grape wine at home.
