half the money I used was from trade in value i've saved up for a while.

and I needed a new handheld, my PSP was becoming outdated and meh.
That psp wasn't nearly as outdated as your archaic GPU.

Eh, I can still ride on it for a little while longer not really bugging me, most of the games I've been playing are older games anyway :p I think the newest game I play now is TOR and it runs perfectly fine on what I have now.

I should be getting some money from school soonish anyway which I will be using to upgrade a few things.

Are we saying integers or all real numbers? This is an easy induction if whole numbers.

tl;dr any even numbers (assuming integers) added together can be expressed as 2*n + 2*m. 2*n+2*m = 2*(n + m). Any number multiplied by 2 is an even number. n + m = some number, k. 2k = even.
