That's my point.
They're distributing the software for free, (where they're supposed to be paid for) and what the companies are doing is try to stop it so people have to pay for it.
What I'm saying is, deep down, people of Reddit, bit torrent, and all those sites are trying to protect free software, which is one of the ideals of communism.
I guess I really don't understand communism. I was under the impression that while benefits are shared that in some way or form the cost of those benefits are also shared in some way. Like if the software developers make is made free for all, then the system would have to allocate lower wages to everyone who benefits from this in order to ensure that the developers obtain a wage since they are performing a task which benefits everyone in the system.
Like I said though I don't know much about it. Anytime you ask an econ or business teacher about it they tell you to GTFO at my school (America, *** Yeah?) and I am too lazy to look deep into learning it myself.
Anyway... I should get back to paying attention to Infosec Class @_@
