I know I said take her a flower, but in all seriousness if it's not an actual date it could seriously backfire and you don't want her to feel under any pressure or that cat will tuck tail and run as soon as you finished your quesidillas.
You could always use it as a topic of discussion, ask her how she feels about V day etc to test the water, she might give away a few clues as to whether she is ready for something or jus wants to be casual, just don't be direct with your questions. Then you could explain the whole situation about how you wanted to get her a flower because it's V day and all, then if she says you should have you could take her to a store and buy her one!!!
Don't they do all this V-day crap the other way around in Japan? Like girls are supposed to give chocolate to the boys they like?
I'll just tell her I am celebrating Japanese Valentine's day.
White day
Quote:
In Japan, Valentine's Day is observed by females who present chocolate gifts (either store-bought or handmade), usually to a male, as an expression of love, courtesy or social obligation. A handmade chocolate is usually preferred by the receiver, because it is a sign that the receiving male is the girl's "only one". On White Day, the converse happens: males who received a honmei-choco (本命チョコ?, "chocolate of love") or giri-choco (義理チョコ?, "courtesy chocolate") on Valentine's Day are expected to return the favor by giving gifts, usually more expensive. Traditionally, popular White Day gifts are cookies, jewellery, white chocolate, white lingerie and marshmallows.[1] Sometimes the term sanbai gaeshi (三倍返し?, literally, "triple the return") is used to describe the generally recited rule that the return gift should be two to three times the cost of the Valentine's gift.[2]

***they even balance romance over there, sounds like Valentine's Day got nerfed though.
She started with My Little Pony Friendship is Magic valentine's cards where she wrote clues where to find the next one and wrote reasons why she loved me on each one. After I found all of them, it directed me to a tent she made in her living room. Inside was steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, tater skins, and hawaiian punch in wine glasses. After we ate, she pulled out a container of brownies that had a pokeball made of frosting on it and said I Choose You! Then she gave me some other presents which included the Brave Little Toaster on DVD.
Lmao that's so ridiculous yet so awesome at the same time :D
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
