There is no all areas map, just a compass that shows current Quests. I also sold my dragon bones and stuff before I got the strategy guide... seen in it that I can make the best gear from it so ya... kinda angering about that one, I don't really remember nor can really find where I sold them either.
Dragon bones are plentiful, I don't even bother picking them up anymore myself. There is a world map in Skyrim that you can use as well. Elder Scrolls games never really needed any maps beyond the occasional one you'd get on a scroll (as a treasure map), just run toward the direction your point is telling you. You'll eventually get to it, or fast travel to a location nearby on the world map, that usually make's it incredibly easy.
I can't count the times I've came into a place either from the back way, over the top of, or some other "not true path". As long as I get there I don't care how I got there. lol
All I know is on PC version the map can be accessed by either pressing tab and hovering over map in the little four way screen or by pressing "M" I think, can't remember atm.
