yeah no i dont want to play it all laggy and low quality on an emulator
You can play SNES and GB/A titles with virtually no lag on just about any PC via Emulator. However, despite only being 64-bit, tricking your PC into operating a completely different piece of hardware is taxing on a PC and requires relatively up to date hardware. But if you have a Wii, you can get OoT and Majora's Mask on the virtual console. Also the remake of OoT on the 3DS is utterly fantastic.
F that.. original NES zelda or gtfo! :P lol. I grew up on NES but I honestly wouldn't suggest it as a "first taste" into a genre for modern gamers. Link to the Past for sure
I guess that's what I get for posting late.
But ask your dad to get you one or the other :o
But I'd say get a Wii so you can play Twilight Princess & Skyward Sword :D
If Majora's Mask doesn't scare you by itself, then just read this.
Not responsible for shat bricks.
It's an imaginative story, but it doesn't really scare me, you posted it a week or so ago and I book marked it so I could read it later (was a long read) and read it a few days ago.. The videos do more to creep me out than the reading did.
There are times he just took it too far, and it went from being possibly really creepy to "really?".
For lack of a better term, he destroyed the immersion and I came back to reality..
I guess that's what I get for posting late.

Yeah it gets a little dubious later on, but if you're already sucked into the start of it, it really gets under your skin.
But it requires a degree of imagination and patient reading to get the most of it. If things like that aren't your forte then it can easily be dismissed.

Where is your wii now? You say that in past tense :(
If you still have it, virtual console is your best friend <3
I edited it in, but I'll say it again so it isn't missed.. and elaborate sort of..
A lot of it had me on the edge of my seat and I just had to keep reading even though I didn't want to, because it was creeping me out.. But seems without fail, every single time, he would destroy that immersion.. I would snap back to reality and he would build it up again, and then the same thing.. There would be a good solid 2-3 paragraphs of where it would be "oh my god, what happened next.. please just get to the end, I can't read this anymore" and then he would destroy everything he had built, it would all crumble.. I would come back to reality and be blatantly reminded this all just a story, but kept reading just because I'm OCD and have to finish what I started, and after another 4-5 paragraphs I'd be in the exact same spot, right before he'd push it too far, again..

Aye, but just imagine the same story with a more talented writer.
It would give you a much more legitimate sense of lingering horror much like this picture does >.>

Sadface :<
I wonder if I were to download titles I've already bought on my virtual console account thingy and put them on a SD card if they'd load from any Wii...
I've seen that pic before and not really sure what I'm supposed to see in it.. I wouldn't wanna go down there, but I don't see like figure in the darkness or anything... Also it has the word '***' so you know <.< might wanna take it down...
And as I said, it was a very imaginative story, I wouldn't say it needs a more talented writer so much as he needs to work on his writing.. He obviously has a lot to offer.. I wouldn't mind reading stories written by him, as long as he had more practice in the art or building up and release... No book or movie does well by just being a slow incline of tension, but at the same time, you have to find ways to slowly let off that tension, or distract from the drastic decline of it..
Now this is where I really wish I had the patience to upload clips of Voyager.. Copy and pasted the most of it, but Janeway walks in and finds Leonardo staring at the shadows on a wall cast by a candle..
Leonardo da Vinci: What do you see?
Captain Kathryn Janeway: A wall - with candlelight reflecting on it. Why? What do you see?
Leonardo da Vinci: A flock of starlings; the leaves of an oak; a horse's tail; a thief, with a noose around his neck... Uh... And a wall, with the candlelight reflecting on it.
Leonardo da Vinci: There are times, Katarina, when I find myself transfixed by a shadow on the wall, or the splashing of water against a stone. I stare at it, the hours pass, the world around me drops away, replaced by worlds being created and destroyed by my imagination. A way to focus the mind.
I don't see anything worthy of shitting bricks over.. It's just single frame.. To me it just seems like the break in the light is caused by a simple disturbance in the water. Between the dark break is simply the peaks of the ripples and captured at just the right time. If you take your mouse and draw circles over the image, considering the angle, you can pretty much draw a perfect circle.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
