For a minute, I thought it was me. I was like... "What does work have to do with the forum...?" But now, I've pieced it together.
A regular Sherlock Holmes, I am.
Speaking of which.. I still need to watch the new one..
I'll be honest, those new films don't really appeal to me. They seem to be less about deducing and more about action. Like a buddy cop movie taking place in early 1900 Britain. I could be wrong, though. I suppose I should watch the first one to get my bearings straight.
I was never really into Sherlock Holmes, but I liked the first one.. If you were a fan of the series, it might seem like a bastardization of a fond memory.. If I were to compare the first one with any 'recent' movie I'd say it's like Wild Wild West.. You got two intelligent guys trying to solve a mystery that's threatening a lot of people and they get a clue every once in awhile, but the rest is filled in with action and comedy.
If you could sit through WWW, you could do the same for Sherlock Holmes, might even like it, I found the first quite a bit more enjoyable overall than WWW
