Ewww...My roommate in college use to swipe my make-up. That's so uncleanly! She had a stye one day, and used my eyeliner right in front of me. I about flipped my ***!

So glad she failed out. Dorm room was all mine! Serves her right for riffling through my closet all the time too!
What! That's not cool at all. Hope she poked her eye with it!

Yep! Needless to say, she and I didn't get along well.

On weeknights when I had time to play FFXI with my BF and HS buddies she would make snarky remarks. My retort was usually, "Why are you concerned with what I'm doing? Are you ever actually going to go to class?"

From what I am reading it wouldn't since having 1 cable = 1 port on the router, which if you just split it... would cause interference since it's still technically on the 1 port. So yeah uh ... Still dunno lol
best bet would be to run 2 lines, from 2 ports, then just use 2 at a time. or switch to wifi :D
Problem is I am on wifi and it blows *** for gaming, and it just sucks in general cause for some reason I am getting a very low connection for no reason. I'd rather have the direct connection, and running two lines MIGHT work but I only think he is willing to run 1.

running two is the same amount of work as running 1, unless there's not a second port available. you try stealing the neighbors wifi? I had a good enough wifi connection from the neighbor to play CoD/ffxi before I got my own.

also are you in the basement? that could affect your connection


No neighbour wifi, he is going to have to cut out where the port will be.

Close range to the modem/router (wood studs two walls in between, should not be interfering that much)

Thanks that's what I kind of deduced finally and I am looking at one right now that looks decent enough for what I need.

Thanks that's what I kind of deduced finally and I am looking at one right now that looks decent enough for what I need.
4-port switches are typically only $20-$25.

Just some friendly advice.. ALWAYS save your games when you can.. I started P3 today and went all the way to block 3 of Tartarus (I've been playing since morning) only to have a megastrong monster come out of no where and rape everyone. ;_; I think the last time I did save was the first time I went in..

I always save when I get to a floor boss teleporter as it's easy to back to the front lobby and to the said floor.

NEVER know when you'll lose. You can wipe to easy enemies just because they get an Enemy Advantage and hit weaknesses + crits, causing your MC to die and lose.

Yeah the one i'm looking at is only about 33 bucks

Probably a bit more beefier then I 'need' it to be but for the price I guess it's not bad.

Oh his AI is fine.. I just dislike him. :| if I'm being honest.. I dislike most of the party.. Aegis, MC, and Koromaru are the only ones I like. xD
