Being too nice gets me in trouble. It took my husband literally years to get me to stop saying "sorry" after EVERYthing.
"What do you want for dinner? Sorry."
"Sorry, can you grab me X item while you're downtown?"
It drove him crazy. Can't blame him! Then there's the fear of hurting anyone's feelings. I try to not hurt anyone's feelings, and if I do something that does hurt someone, I'll try to un-do it. That gets annoying fast with things like school projects in groups. Groups are bad enough, but when I'm scared to hurt someone's feelings by asking them to step up or whatever, yeah.
It's not that I mean to be nice. It's just that I really hate to see people hurt or angry at me. Life is too short for that kind of drama.
