the new haste dagger might be the best depending on who you play with, but the str kila is one of the best things you can do for your dnc.

for a free mainhand, get a phurba.

*edit* actually i dunno what a good free main hand dagger is atm. my dnc is 90 still.

don't look for fire weather, doesn't exist even in the middle of a volcano, make a group and mass kill in abyssea on firesday probably your best bet.

The STR kila are 45 base damage now, those are good, and the haste one offhand. I don't think they're too expensive either. So STR/Haste would be a quick setup that nobody would laugh at.

Oh gosh.. I forgot about that. For some reason it RAINS more in volcano's I swear..

yeah and the flans in abyssea aren't as physically resistant either, so i would totally just do them all in abyssea, just shout a game day or two before firesday and get a group of 4+. I did 183 vermin with a WAR MNK and me in attowha in one firesday. it was nice to play dnc like 75 cap

Bart and I were talking about getting a Phurba but I heard it was pretty hard to get? I guess I should go wiki that myself..

I think I'm going to do a STR Kila then a EVA Kila.. I just have done the Parazonium 2-4 and it literally killed me that trials seem like the worst thing ever. /lesigh

if the str and eva kila are 45, then that's what you want. phurba is 44. the acc and cure potency are ok. the real benefit was that it had more damage than the tom daggers. even then it didn't mean much because after 45 dmg your str adds more to your weapon. this makes the str dagger even better than ever and it should be your main focus til you can get a washtar. at least imo.
