eh why did i let them talk me into waffle house? i hate hash browns. now my stomach is all gurgly.

How can you hate hash browns?

I hate them if they are made wrong.

i dunno. i just don't. i don't like the kind that are like chunked, the kind that are like shreded, or the ones at mcdonalds. i prefer just cut up potato cooked in a little oil seasoned with salt and pepper. i don't get hash browns. i got them with extra cheese, onion, and jalapeno. i ate half, but really just cause i paid for them.

I can't make them right ; ; I only like them diner style.

And so we meet again...saturday.

I like cool weather so I can wear outerwear.
Can't deal with bitterly cold weather, though.

Annoying doesn't even begin to cover it.. They're simple, they should be easy to make, I can make far more complicated things after 1 or 2 tries, sometimes I'll nail it on the first, but often I need a 2nd attempt to improve upon the mistakes/outcome I had the first time.

I have tried to make them dozens of times, I just can't do it. I always get this weirdly colored mass with an off flavor.

I shred them into water so that they don't discolor (I've done it without the water but it comes out even worse) I dry them really well before I put them in the pan, I always get basically the same result no matter what I try.

if you don't use enough oil they stick to the pan and get super hard. if you use too much they end up getting kinda soggy and goopy. neither is good. i still think just plain fried tatos is better and easier.

For the next time you feel a need to reply to a post, but aren't sure of exactly what to say.

The puppet attachments you're talking about, can be purchased with ISP from Aht Urgahn's Imperial Standing Points officer by the fountain... I know this because i picked up a counter attachment from Garlaige Citadel (can't remember name) and it was in the list in Aht Urgahn...

On a seperate note... It's October, the time of year when we can really stop for a week or two, and enjoy drinking from some wicked looking beer steins (correct me if i'm wrong about Oktoberfest), and the month when the "World as we know it" (actual translation = ZOMG THE WORLD'S GONNA END, SO GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY SO YOU CAN GET INTO HEAVEN!!!!) And I was curious how people were going to spend it.

I'll be spending it doing what I always do: Playing FFXI, reading poorly made scanlations of otherwise super awesome mangas, and scaring the ***out of trick or treaters by pretending to be dead, wake up, and grab their ankles so they drop their candy bags/pails/buckets/etc. so i don't have to go to the store the following day.
