Are pugs really more endangered than Pandas?

I've never seen a pug strut or growl, and I've been to a bunch of pug picnics. :x I know my ex hated pugs, and turned out he mistook his uncle's sharpeis for pugs. It sounds like a fat zombie or something.. Then strut.. Pretty much that, just a bit slower.. I dunno why I even care, and it's not like that alone would make me hate pugs, a lot of small dogs do the same thing.. Pugs definitely do growl though and the sound drives me nuts. I think a stray cat had babies in a car that just sits on campus lol auto department never moves their junk cars.

Those things... /cringe  EDIT: They look like miniature "Chupacabras" that people have claimed to have shot down here. The other one's not. And technically that's not a Sharpei either, it's a Pugpei.
I just don't like the sound it aggravates the hell out of me.. Everyone has irrational things that bug them for no good reason, this is one of mine. That's not really a strut but ok. :x They have kinda misshapen bodies so they walk funny. Also the kitten looked like he was chubby and very bright eyes and looked strong. Possible his mom was out looking for food and would be back lol
