Alright, I know I'm weird but I've never played a Fallout game. Can I start with New Vegas or do I have to play 3 first? Not really interested in 1 and 2 (I don't wanna play such old games lol)

You don't need to play Fallout 3, and in my opinion you shouldn't. New Vegas is better in almost every way, except it's a tad more linear and substantially glitchier and crashier but if you remember to Quicksave every few minutes it's not an issue.

By playing Fallout 3, you'll just gain a general sense of the lore. As if you were watching the Star Wars movie to learn about the Knights of the Old Republic games. Same universe, completely different setting, characters, plot, etc.
