None here in Brasil actually believes he felt cheated, tbf.

No one outside Brazil believes it either. He just made up an excuse when he made the news.

No judgment, Ronaldo Nazario is my all-time favourite football/soccer player.

Every single patch used to break windower. Are there patches now that didn't? If so what went wrong with the windower breaking mechanic?

When windower and other tools broke frequently, it was because exact offsets were used to locate memory structures. Current approaches rely on better reverse engineering and typically match a pattern near code that references the location from there.

A simple analogy would be 'the second paragraph on page 125 of the book' vs 'Look up the page chapter 8 starts at and skip forward 1 paragraph from there'. The former changes if the font size, foreward, margins, page size, etc.. are altered a little bit. The latter is pretty resilient unless the table of contents or chapter layout is altered.

By my estimation, there's never been any intentional breaking of Windower. It's just a byproduct of maintaining their own code.

Wait! When? Unless it was in the neolithic era I seem to have forgotten that part.

Then again today I am kinda limited to snarly and sarcastic.

I had to bow to Microsoft's plans.
My desktop was running Windows 10, and I was resisting the switch to 11.
Then I went to play Palworld—played for two hours—until I got a BSOD, and I've spent the whole day trying to boot up the computer. Now that I've managed to get in for a few minutes, I've decided to submit and switch to 11...
Better to submit than to die.

On a World Cup note, such a drama...

The goalkeeper sub out, the one who subbed in committed a grave mistake, and Belgium is knocked out.

The goalkeeper mistake reminded me a lot of Kahn's mistake in 2002 World Cup final.

Same thing

Dang.

I was supposed to play Palworld the entire day, but my PC is dying.

I play one hour, and it forcefully shuts down.

Maybe its hardware gave up.

My room can get dusty, so I suppose that should be breaking some things.

Maybe it is just destiny telling me to focus on working on my new home instead of playing.

Kinda sucks, I could really use some playing.

The game didnt change a whole lot but I was enjoying replayung after half a year

I installed it on my laptop.

Gonna havemy quality play this weekend according to the plan.

Gonna leave the desktop issue for next week.

But I already started looking for a new one intead. Current one is quite old, and I wanted something powerful to run those models Nickeynil use to create his hentais digital art.

So, the VAR review in this Argentina match swung the whole game. I guess flopping is a yellow card? Seems like there should be a lot more yellows handed out...

I swear it was a lot of years since I saw such a faking like Embolo.

Also, Embolo ranked incredibly high in my list of the dumbest move in all history.

How can a profissional player faking a foul when his team is completely dominating the other.

That said, it is pretty incredible how exhausted is this Argentina team. I think they can put an even match against the europeans if they were less tired, but I feel they are about to crumble.

While France feels like they are miles ahead of everyone else.

Right now, I feel like they can effortlessly beat every single one of the remaining team.

Technically they are at their peak, physically they feel like they are fresh. Their players feels like they are at their best too. And they are talented in every position.

Im cheering for Argentina, but I dont think anyone can beat France in an even match, unless some french gets red card, or they miss the target too much.

That said, I do think those semifinalists are effectivelly the best in the entire competition.

There won't be any upsets in this World Cup. W

Always has been. Just hardly ever enforced.

This world cup has a new rule that if a player receives a yellow card for a foul that is later overturned by VAR, the opposition receives the yellow instead.

Embolo's dive resulted in a yellow for a foul, which then got rescinded. That automatically gave him a yellow, not the fact he dived.

In other words if no yellow was given for the initial foul Embolo would not be sent off, despite the fact he dived.

This happened in the England match. There was a penalty given for England with the score at 2-1. It got overturned on VAR review and was a dive. The player that dived received no yellow, because no yellow was given for the penalty.

There are basically two rules punishing dives with yellows - one for the dive and one for mistakenly giving a yellow for a foul that was a dive.

I just barely started playing Palworld this weekend due to many things happening (computer breaking, having to take care of my move).

Even for a veteran giga chad player like me, all the changes from the last version I played (back in feb) to the 1.0 are overwhelming.

Imagine for a new player.

I've been playing Ever Crisis since the beta and have been deep in the community ever since. The thing that annoys me most is that I laid out a number of concerns in the beta feedback (including things that they did and things that I was concerned that they would do in the future), and many of those same things caused people to quit. I mean, I'm certainly no expert on what makes a gacha successful and I didn't expect the devs to listen to me, but if I saw the red flags before the game even released then surely the devs saw them too and proceeded anyway.

Everytime someone change a corporate system and I end up having ro work with only 25% of the avaliable area, being the other 75% wasted in unnecessary headers and menu, I always wonder: do those *** not even test a product before delivering?

If I was the prosuct owner, I would scold those guys.

Corporate systems must be focused in UX, NOT in tossing at random the N-feature a product has.

That is one reason why I think vibe coding is powerful. The option to tailormade a software to your specific needs beats having a generic application that can so so satisfy people you dont know, and that will have to study just to figure out how that system works.
