No. My statement had little to do with Tesla and everything to do with the "its coming" lies Musk spews.

What makes him so successful as a con man is that he actually does things like space x and tesla. Part of the con is he promises far more than he can deliver.
It's a running gag now that you can't take anything he says seriously sadly. Always expect either half or less of what you were promised when it comes to Musk.

I test drove a model Y last year and enjoy single peddle driving, but compromised and ended up getting something with a bit more features for the wife's comfort level.

I'm so out of the loop. I pay zero attention to the news and I've been off all social media since 2019. This forum is my contact to the outside world.... God help me.

I always just assumed peoples dislike of Musk was because of Twitter, DOGE, and Trump. Musk was the GD hero of the left back in 2018, then all of the sudden he was the villian.

I hate this idea that anybody who doesn't think like you is the enemy. It's so toxic and we need to be able to discuss our disagreements, not silence/cancel/kill over them.
