I am pretty sure you misunderstood my point back then. My opinion on literature in our society has always been the same, and I was a huge fan of Blade Runner movie x2 and PKD for the same reason wayyyyyyyyyyy before 2023. So the timing isn't even correct if I changed my opinion about them in the past 2 years.
No, I know you were at least familiar with Blade Runner (not sure about being a big fan) because you specifically brought it up (and 1984) in that exact conversation about esteemed scientist-thinker-novelist predictions & social commentary, but I won't get into specifics here. So I got bored and asked AI if capitalism and mega corporation in fictions are portrayed in a realistic way, and AI said something similar to "yes and no" then listed a bunch of similarities and differences between rl and fictions.
"it's not black and white" was my position on the topic back then :)
