I thought Han supremacy was the official CCP position.
Official position? I don't think so. PRC Constitution clearly said all ethic groups are equal:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethnic_minorities_in_China
Quote:
The PRC's Constitution and laws guarantee equal rights to all ethnic groups in China and help promote ethnic minority groups' economic and cultural development. The constitution prohibits both discrimination and acts of disunity
Honestly I feel CCP are more likely to ban those angry mobs starting dumb drama about Qing in a video game for "peace", than
promoting Han supremacy which creates more tension and chaos. If there is one thing CCP hates the most, it'd be chaos and tension in the society that could potentially affect their power stability.
Edit: obviously, when certain ethic group could potentially threaten their power stability, then they may ignore what the constitution said. Because they generally put power, control and social stability on a much higher priority than ideology. That does not mean their official stance is Han supremacy however.
