I still use my PS5 regularly. One, I love couch gaming and probably always will. Two, I don't always want to keep up with meeting PC specs to play a game, combination of convenience and laziness knowing it should just work. This is not always the case now as it was in the past, though. I have never installed Steam so another self-imposed restriction is not having to set that up, too.

Once upon a time Sony said Nintendo isn't their competitor because Sony's customer are gamers into high definition gaming but switch players don't care about high definition graphics. Their customers don't overlap.
Imagine how things would change when: 1) Switch 2 is capable of running Cyberpunk 2077 level of games decently. 2) Xbox merges with PC platform PLUS a much better game pass with many AAA games available on day 1.
Sony needs to play a new card for the next generation IMO. Because I see a portion of Sony's customer leave for other platforms if this trend continues.
