The Elvaan's lost to Tarutaru warlords in the past, and had to band together and get over themselves to retake northern Quon. They then lost when trying to bear down on southern Quon.

The Tarutaru then got mogged by birdmen with hollow bones, and had to rely on sexy cat women mercenaries from across the ocean.

The Galkans were overwhelmed by entities that out breed everybody else. Deeply spiritual reincarnaters with an intricate and storied past were pushed out of their home by literal bugmen. No other race could have stood against them as long, and all other races are fortunate that the Antica don't care to move beyond Kuzotz. (A salient point in WoTG quests when the beastmen and unrestful folk sought to communicate with the Antica by obtaining their Xhifut speech organ)

Humes took in and more or less enslaved the remaining Galka for a time, but eventually their unstable union has made the best of all nations. Minds of innovation from the Humes, with the might of the Galka, each tempering the other into the sharpest of tools.

Compared to the arrogant Elvaan who have a corrupt spiritual leader, and no innovative minds...

Compared to the miserly mages and the taken for granted mercenaries that prevented them from being wiped out at all...

Bastok is practically a utopia. Hewn into the hard rock coastline of southern Quon, its bay the only "easy" entry point... It doubles as a nature bound fortress.

It was even able to expand and drive the rise of Jeuno, which only broke away due to the Zilart and their Armathrwn Society. That's right, the setting's literal direct god descendants were the only ones who could shrug off Bastokan influence in any meaningful capacity.

Nynja is just mad that he doesn't have the clarity of mind and soul to embrace Bastok, Galkas, and true blue Humes!

Bastok is led by a politician.
San d'Oria is led by a crusty inbred.
Windurst is led by a prophet who dropped an atomic bomb to save the allied forces in the crystal war.

Go on about your rock digging operation, though.

Personally I think the Taru took advantage or our maternal instincts and lack of offspring due to the monopoly on males that our elders flaunt.

As to Bastok I simply prefer places with trees.

Then there is Sandy where the only member of the royal family that has a brain is ineligible for the throne due to agnatic succession.

Windurst is led by a prophet who dropped an atomic bomb to save the allied forces in the crystal war.

Go on about your rock digging operation, though.

A False Prophet who can't actually do her supposed futuresight, and had said "bomb" handed to her by someone who probably should have been the actual leader of Windurst.

Whose modern day solution is to give ritual offerings to the Yagudo to appease them, for fear of a fight she no longer believes Windurst has the means to win.

A lame duck theological dictator whose own ministries act against her in the present Windurst mission line.

Some Seer... But hey, if you wanna believe a woman with no real power who's hypocritical in the extreme... that's your prerogative (condemns the use of chemical weapons by Bastok agains the Sahagin in the Elshimo Campaign).

It's FFXI game world stuff. It's fine Mr. Slugsworth.

And no, I'm saying the basis for Windurst's government is some tart living in a tree staring into a fountain, so a magical and imprisoned dog can tell her vagueries about the future.

The real question here is can a galka who decides in a rare, brief moment of clarity to race swap (to hume) be considered as equal?

they get the equal right to still be told to go back to the mines!

Also Sandy knows how to party their decorations for the major festivals put all other cities to shame. Mumor herself performs in our region, an incredible show to see.

You can see a very clear link between the Kuluu and Taru.

A woman wrote all the Windurst storylines (Yaeko Sato), and you can see that fairly clearly with the Star Sibyl and Mithra being how they are. I still think they are among the best storylines in the game though (she also wrote CoP and Rhapsodies I believe).

She also wrote much of ff14 ARR.

Masato Kato did most of the lore and writing, who also wrote Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, Chrono Cross and did some work on ff7.

All players playing a Tarutaru are clearly female tarutaru, even if they have a male hair cut. I mean you dont have a `-` in your name so it is pretty obvious that you are a girl.

... i might need to write an addon that just puts `-` into the middle of male player tarutaru's displayed names XD "Richy-Bear"

Galka got bullied out of Palborough by turtles the way they were bullied out of their homeland by ants.

And not even teenage mutant ninja turtles, just regular humanoid turtles.

Humes and Galkas dug Palborough, and they hit a Quadav spawning ground.

The Quadav only took hold of the mine with aid from The Shadowlord during the war! That's why there's a burning circle with Castle Zvahl architecture there :3

And also why the Quadav went to war at all. For their spawning ground. Bastok's not sinless.

anyone used a paid service to get a network unlock PIN for their phone? I tried to have ATT generate one but it doesn't work, google suggested it should be 16 digits and not 8 which they gave me. now I have no ATT service (they cancelled me during number transfer before the new was even finished being set up) and a blocked sim from the new carrier so no phone.

Im here at my nephew 13th birthday.

There are only boys here.

Reminds me the last birthday party I had as a kid.

I also only invited my friends, only boys.

My stepmother scolded me that i hadnt invited any girl.

The party was a blast, I had so much fun.

But never again my stepmother arranged another birthday party to me.

Meh
