I dreamt a full, original Tom & Jerry episode in 4k 120fps, with voice acting
Tom even had a handsome dog transformation for camouflage
Was pretty smooth
Props to the animators
I'm always fascinated by how, despite not being a creative person, some times I dream of stuff that feel creative (characters and dialogue, settings, events etc) & worth noting down for future conversion into a visual medium.

Oh wow. I didn't really notice just how bad Gadot is as an actress. I've only seen her as wonder woman.
Her in Snow White is offensive lol. Wasn't completely hating the movie until she did the first song. OOF made my body hurt. Literally saying eww out loud.
I only watch movies reviews, and about the Snow White, the scene of Snow White bossing the Dwarfs to do the hard work despite being a total stranger to them was enough to pass the movie's message.
apparently a resin statue store I purchase from, the owner vanished. After 4 years shopping there, he ran away with 10k of my money. The joys of buying unofficial stuff, that is probably a felony but there's people who spent even more than me. I wonder how you could even pursue that.
Sad thing is that if you let that company do it they'd probably still be using that same system. "It's our most profitable line" then you'd think you'd want to modernize it. That being said "modern" isn't always better. But sometimes it is difficult to get parts to fix the older equipment.
:D we do still use the same equipment! it is a laser that was sold with a PDP-11 that ran the trim programs. The system has been updated on the computer side to a myriad of OS and platforms, currently locked into Win 10 x86 due to some vision software I need to rewrite to use a new library. But the hardware of the laser is the same system, and all passed their 40th birth day.
We save all sorts of old junk, but no old PDP-11 laying around would have been so cool to have one to poke at.
Obviously while studying UX, topics like diversity and accessibility being covered is a no brainer.
The course exaggerating the occurrence of those is mildly annoying but ok.
Even within the many iterations of those topics barely bringing anything new, just the same “think about them” is mildly annoying, but also ok.
But what made me want to pull my fur was this: did you know a11y is abbreviation of accessibility. Because it is a-11 letters-y.
Oh, no. I dont know who was the idiot who invented this ***, but this guy wasmt thinking about accessibility at all.
Even for people without disabilities would struggle to understand a word that you cant even distinguish the numbers and letters, leave alone associate this with accessibility.
It is so frustrating how shallow those guys who cover those topics try to pass a message. Even the government here made a way better job regarding this by objectively defining standards that would actually promote accessibility, instead wasting peoples time with those stupid pun words, maybe just to feel cool
Final episode of Andor was pretty lame. 10 and 11 were good but the last one made a decision at the very end that summed up Tony Gilroy's cowardice and overall mishandling of a certain character.

I thought it was really well done and they did a good job wrapping up and bringing closure to most of the characters. The scene at the end was very clearly an attempt at engaging with people emotionally especially when taken in context with Rogue One's end, but I'm not sure how else you could really wrap that up considering it's hamstrung by Rogue One coming immediately after. There would've been other ways but not when you immediately jump into the movie.
The best of Star Wars IMO aside from KOTOR and some Legends stories.
Damnit, I just might have to watch Andor now... I'm seeing way too many people say it's really good. Last thing I watched I think was Boba Fett or Solo... I haven't liked anything Star Wars since Rogue One.
I skipped it due to the past 9 years of absolute trash Disney has shoveled out.
I believe LucasArts had a lot to do with Rogue One since it was one of the first projects after Disney's aquisition. Disney bought the IP in 2012 and Rogue One came out in 2016. I find it reasonable to assume that Rogue One was being planned out as early as 4 years prior to release.
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
