My last this or that was inspired in a review i watched about Nadja.
Lately I got this habit of playing reviews videos of many medias while playing a game. Ive been watching reviews mostly of movies, series, animes and mangas.
This review about Nadja was going on quite normal. The guy was praising it but the narration didnt really made me super interested.
But then he introduced Nadjas antagonist: a girl around same age, but entirely different background.
Nadja had parents from nobility but due circunstânces, she ended working in a circus.
The antagonist was friend of Nadja, but unlike Nadja, had no noble blood. She was a commoner.
But the thing is, that girl actually strongly believe she is a princess. That she was waiting for a knight to come rescue her.
While loving in her delusion, her reality was that she was working as a maid, and often she was hungry.
When she had a chance to steal everything Nadja was, and finally become a noble, she took the chance, and worked as an antagonist, to secure her position she always dreamed of, and trying the erase the risk of Nadja of unmasking the friends fraud.
The guy reviewing praised the antagonist saying she did well her role, becoming a despicable person where everyone hates.
But idk. Was she a villain? She had her once in a lifetime chance to make her dreams true. The chance to leave behind all that life filled with frustrations and shame only because hadnt born at right place and time.
