Digimon movie was decent but needed more fight scenes and the story was kinda strange. Also don't like the voice changes they did for most of them... and the usual retconning of dub names to the forced JP names. Idk what is it with certain fans of stuff having to literally scream at nothing in movie theaters, it was like secondhand embarrassment. Literally someone saying something completely basic like hello and people are screaming laughing.

It's a 21:9 aspect ratio monitor so you probably need ultrawidify for youtube and other stuff.

Settings are good out of the box, Oled doesn't really need tuning. You can choose to lower your max refresh rate to 144 in favor of 10bit color but this doesn't matter especially on nvidia cards since 8bit+dithering is practically the same thing visually to all but the most professional color graders.

You can also toggle between hdr 600 true black and peak 1000. Personally I notice next to no difference and keep it on true black mode.

Make sure gsync is enabled in the nvidia control panel, and if you want it to work on windowed/borderless windowed games check the box to enable that.

Far as black bars, 99% of youtube videos are shot in 16:9 or 4:3. Ultrawide is 21:9. You'll have those bars whenever you aren't doing something that supports Ultrawide resolutions.

Basically any game made in the last 5-10 years has support for UW. Also lets you use one monitor as two basically since you can just snap a different window to each half of the screen. This is good for productivity and whatnot.

I don't use U Block Origin, but opening Youtube in a private window always seems to avoid their *** for me. Not a perfect solution, but good enough until plugins work again.

I did notice there was no displayport cable in the box, so I used one I had and seemed to help over the HDMI ones. Then I changed the refresh rate and had to resize a bunch of things from my old monitor. The only thing I've disliked so far is how easily the fingerprints stay on the screen. It is super hard to clean it off for some reason, so now I feel like I need to use gloves to touch it lol.


That makes sense, I'm enjoying it a lot so far. This is the first one I've had like this, and its really nice.
