The problem with this is that Square Enix are not doing this because they believe in it, they just think it's appealing to progressives in the west.

If it's any consolation, I did choose Bianca on my first playthrough of the game. I don't really see the appeal in Deborah, but she's new to the DS version so I'm sure it was just the creator's way of shaking things up for JP audience who actually got to play the SNES version in the 90s without emulation.

Well, this week I finally successful delivered my 3 months project that was implemented entirely under pressure.

So much time was invested to this happen, and after its done, i feel like temporarily at loss. A lot of other problems and lesons to study, im not even sure where to start, and also how to get in the mod to restart.

I was studying Java like 1h daily one month ago, before investing even that time to the project. Kinda feel the inertia to catch up. Also, I have like 9 tests to answer. This weekend I still cant relax, unfortunelly.

On a side note, ive been kinda “cheating”….

Ive decided to review all Xeno -games before trying the Xenoblade 3, then i grabbed Xenogear from PSX.

But right at start i felt like “omg, those start and finish scene each battle takes too long, menus takes to long to load, random battles are too often, disrupting the exploration…

I had kinda forget how annoying are random battle in the past, and didnt feel like trying to do it.

So, ive decided to just watch the long play of the game on youtube! Then i can watch the entire story, and just skip the parts where the player just grinds or manage inventory.

I found a 8 part series each with 10h of play. At some points i feel some urge to battle but overall, at least i can catch up the story while totally not dealing with craps from legacy RPG..

I actually played it in the past, but i gave up at some point where i felt like reaching the end…

But i just now got to the point where i left… and it was like only half story..

Random thought again, kinda amazing the concept of ancient civilization but more developed than current ones. Kinda gives off how they could purposelly control another civilization evolution while keeping themselves all the good stuffs.

And that kinda links with another lesson i just had, wherethe teacher digressed about NFT saying: “look, now you can buy virtual clothes but obviously you cant wear them. But, in the future, if you can have an avatar, then you can use all your NFT junk you own.

But, plottwist! Imagine if, we reach a technological point where everyone can have an avatar in the cyber world. The technology is so advanced that the computer can perfectly emulate human feeling, behaviours.

Imagine that someone starts living in such digital world where the computer creates all NPC like actual human beings to interact with the player.

Now, imagine if those NPCs are…, actually us! If we are only programed to believe we are real, but our only goal is to satisfy a single “real” human that exists here, and make up his own world…

Now plot twist 2!!!

Imagine that we are NPC so well developed that we even can reach the point to recreate the metaverse, and a NPC becomes the new “player” in an entire new world. Now he is the “actual” human in said reality.

And the spiral goes on and on, till the point it just doesnt make any sense the concept of reality.

Memory is a fickle thing.

I was recording Chapter 3 of CoP last night, and for the life of me I could not remember almost anything specific surrounding it. I didn't get all the way through it, of course, with its bevy of cutscenes, Parradamo Tor climb(honest Attowha Chasm in general), and the fatherlovin' Chebukis.

I got up to 3-5, couldn't remember anything about it. Totally forgot about Prishe losing the Amulet(having it stolen by Nag'molada I assume). After that I tried to remember what was up next after Diabolos... It's Chapter 4, but I can't remember the chapter name.

When I think on it now, it's gotta be the chapter where you take on Ouryu and then go to Sacrarium, right? But I don't remember at all, what goes on in the story in either location.

But only just 5~6 years ago, I was able to recite most of CoP from memory.

What happened? Is this going to be the fate of so many other of my favorite memories?

Extremely ikred that HBO/Discovery (or is it Warner/Discover? *** if I know) canceled "Westworld" yesterday. I am not looking forward to the network that gave us "The Sopranos" and other genre-altering masterpieces getting watered down to cheaply produced reality shows about suburban moms on pills.

Westworld really left itself no where to go. It just went more and more ridiculous.

It wasn't even westworld anymore.

I'm having a hell of a time finding this one video I saw recently that was like "All early 2000s animations in a nutshell" and it was a really well done compilation that represented the entire style of videos people were making back then. I was going to reply with that but I can't seem to find it now x_x

I get that take, and the numbers certainly support that more had your view than mine- but I was honestly really enjoying the journey the show was taking on the macro-issues, not the minutiae of plot. It definitely wasn't the "Western with Robots" so many thought they were getting with season 1, and that turned off a big chunk of viewers, so in a very honest sense this was forseeable.

But I do miss the days when HBO put out entertainment and gave their talent the room to work, not such short leashes than creative risks aren't rewarded.
