I would try that once. But my wife that grew up in Mexico would probably say, “I want a divorce” if I made that for her.

Sounds like you get more taco poutine for yourself, to me

Sometimes, setting up the little fight is a perfectly acceptable technique in marriage- set up that 2hour silent treatment right before dyna-D, get the wrong topping on the nachos to "ruin" them for her....all's fair, baby.

That's typically all it is for any of these food events. I do know a few folks that can stomach one or two entries per day over the two week event, but most people are only going to try a couple. We're a week into it and I've already had two. There's a small chance I'll have one more.

The restaurant I bought it from actually has some of the best nachos I've ever eaten, so I'm not surprised their "spicy taco poutine" turned out really good. The tortilla bowl was unnecessary, though. You've already got fries as a starch, and the gravy disintegrated the bottom.

The only food I wish I could eat more often is some nice barbecue with quality meat.

Suck that we live in a apartment so no space for a grill.

Also, unfortunelly beef is too expensive here.

It's not quite the same, but an electric grill still gives you the sear. Or a cast iron skillet on the stove. Those were our solutions to the apartment lifestyle.

I've never paid much attention to razzies but I'm rooting for Space Jam 2: The Taste of Lebrons Balls to "win" every one they're nominated for.

So they never do some ***like that again. (they will)

lol I didn't like it either. I do know some people who thought it was passable. I thought it had a few moments, particularly at the start where they actually visited a few other universes as they collected the Tunes. But overall, it felt like a modern episode of Family Guy: making references to things without doing anything creative with it.

Hey, guys. Remember The Matrix?? Remember King Kong?? Look-- they're in the background, isn't that cool?! We own these intellectual properties rofflemow

There was a boycott effort because Lola Bunny was desexualized.

But then again the reviews panned it and both basketball and animation fans thought it was derivative and not entertaining.

I know its not always possible for those of us who live in apartments, but mine does at least have a couple nice grill zones throughout the property, and since moving out to Colorado every year I have split a cow from a local rancher with 4 friends. We contact the rancher and use his butcher, then pay about 1/3 the per pound price plus butcher fees to get 6 months worth of beef for all of us. Ends up still being less than half the cost of grocery store beef, the local rancher and butcher get paid directly, and the quality is staggering compared to what's at the meat counter.

In some ways, "pandemic living" has shrunk the world so we have access to more of it, but always at an arm's length and without truly understanding the impact on our local economies. Just jump on amazon/instacart/doordash and wait in our boxes to have it brought to us. But when we think smaller, often we get better results cheaper, and help our neighbors in the process.

Not to mention, if you buy from the Mom n' Pop shop down the street, that money usually sticks around and comes back eventually. Especially if they themselves are sourcing locally. This goes double for Canada, since not only are a lot of the cheaper products made offshore, but the owners of those big box stores are usually operating out of the USA. The only money that stays home when we buy from a place like Wal-Mart or Tim Hortons's are the minimum wages they pay the floor workers.

While this is a cool idea, both of my parents are basic *** and only eat bland stuff. Anything too "exotic" and my dad wont eat it, anything too "flavorful" and my mom wont eat it lol

okay, my profanity filter turned back on for whatever reason.. ROOKS! SITE BUG! I dunno why it did that.
Ah yeah. My mom's pretty hesitant to eat anything that isn't flavored solely by salt, pepper, and butter. My dad's a bit more open. When she'd make us spaghetti and meatballs, she'd leave the pasta and sauce separate and eat only the former.

Actually, that's not fair. She's been really exploring outside of her comfort zone the last couple of years. Though her comfort zone is still spaghetti with butter and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese or potato perogies with butter and sour cream lol

Never suggest your child become a professional musician.

Instead, aim them at something nice and easy where you're only expected to succeed 1/3 of the time and be called one of the greatest to ever do it....like Baseball.
