tales of arise is a great fkn game, i usually dont like tales outside of sympnhonia and abyss but god damn why cant CRAPCOM MAKE A BOF GAME WITH THOSE KIND OF VISUALS
I just pre-ordered it this morning, it will be my first tales game but it looked really neat. Didn't like their "extreme ultimate deluxe" edition with 18 custumes.. such a cash grab, but apparently they are japanesy waifu outfits, so I'll settle for the angel wings.

first a shitty food truck keeps playing loud music overnight to entertain drunkards. Then a gooseneck trailer comes at 1am to move a car parked in a handicapped car space... I had two cups of coffee before I could start getting ready to work/study. Sometime that bestial feelings starts poping in your head.
That desire to see blood everywhere... the blood of people that dont allow you to sleep peacefully. Wow Shang-Chi was really good, I thought it would be one of those SJW movies and really forced but it was very entertaining.

A story that uses broad strokes tropes, and was quite satisfactorily finished from my PoV. What else is there to add, except cooler portrayals of the same ideas? Did you notice how in the trailer there is basically a barrage of callbacks and references to the first Matrix movie? It almost feels more like a reboot of the series than a continuation. I'll probably see it, but I don't have any expectations or hyped up hopes. The only real complaint us they really under explain the 10 rings. It's shang chi and the legend of the 10 rings.
There's quite the lack of the second half of that title. In fairness, I do get annoyed by Batman's parents dying again and again and Peters spider bite again and again... but it's a little different. How are they found in a tomb if the wearer is immortal. If they didn't wear them why didnt the buryier take them. If they were sacred or protected or etc then how were they taken from the tomb. |
