Not the price you want to pay. But easy. Hop on one of the lists or hit up microcenter. Microcenter no longer sells online, so the scalpers can't get em. Newegg does the lottery. Couple places do lottery. Always the option of buying a prebuilt and reselling everything but the gpu too. i got my videocard during a dump on the Zotec Store
I decided to hold off a bit, my computers are old but they do everything I want them to. I'd rather spend money renovating so I can fire up my server rack/save it for now.
edit: I'm not paying $500 for a video card, all I need is a budget one, that is insane.

if you have a bestbuy near you, reach out to them. they tend do in person only gpu sales where you can get them for msrp, but you have to get there before they open and wait in line. it's their way of countering the bots buying them up online. they usually announce the events a few days ahead, but maybe if you call you can get a bigger heads up.
