Oh man these February campaigns

been playing xenoverse 2 the last few days. i bought it forever ago and never got very far cause i had other stuff to do/play. kinda fun to just blow stuff up, but the story missions are kinda stupid when they want you to execute certain moves or strats. it doesn't work right and then you fail or get a low score cause it wants you to grab a great ape's tail, which NEVER *** works. easier to just blast the crap out of them.

I love that game, I hope they do xenoverse 3 but they keep adding DLC to 2 lol. I just started fighterz and its okay but I like xenoverse better.

Do any of you have this quirk too?

I don't have that quirk (I will drink soda with anything), but it's not too uncommon from what I understand. Hence why coffee and doughnuts is a thing, or tea with various pastries. Nothing weird, just picky.

I dont have a charizard but I do have an alikazam, mewtwo, blastoise, and venusaur. some of the random rares like wigglytuff and clefaible too but i need to have them graded to see if theyre actually any good.

I have some resin figures of a few of my favorites, waiting to see an Azumaril one since he's another favorite.

God damn it, STO. I was looking forward to this ship since it leaked a few weeks ago, but it's only available as part of a super overpriced bundle. >_>;

The only good fast food I ever had, and I mean GOOD as opposed to better than average, decent, OK, or edible:

Tad's steak houses, New York city, midcentury.

A Kansas city strip steak*, baked potato, "Texas" toast, salad. Period. Limited menu indeed.

Long grill, stakes put down at one end, and then flipped down the grill. However you liked your steak there were several on the grill just that degree of done. "I'll take blood rare." "Cold center or warm?"

The kicker, $1.19 ~ 1958, got to $1.99 by '64. For reference nowhere else that I knew of in the city was a comparable steak offered for under $5 but you could get some lousy, tough as leather steaks for $4 & up all over town.

Decor was formica tables & booths, red bordello flocked wallpaper. At least they got the steaks right though.

*Anywhere but New York this is a New York steak.

On Tex - Mex.

Tex - Mex is a misnomer, should be called border food. Great similarities southern TX, NM, AZ & northern Mexico. Even, although KN would howl at this, southern CA.

I have no qualms about Tex-Mex in South CA. But to say there are "great similarities" between regions? Your palliate is obviously lacking.

To put it in another way, that's like saying Chicago style pizza is the same as New York style pizza.

And no, I'm not talking about fast food Tex-Mex. I'm talking about homestyle restaurant Tex-Mex. You can take your Taco Bell and shove it.

I wonder about life a decade or so ago. The Fukushima Daiichi reactor breach due to that tsunami earthquake wombo combo managed to power down the FFXI servers, leading to me coming to this site to kill time while my XI addiction couldn't be sated.

It led me to meet people I still play FFXIV with, in spite of losing all but one of my FFXI associates/friends overtime.

Looking at the way all of the pieces fell is kind of fun. It makes me wonder what I can't control right now is setting up for me in the future.
