While it's not a true allergy it is often referred to as an allergy due to the symptoms.

Yes but there's not as much of a general consensus to hate our fathers.

I'm more interested in the Ex thing because it's so generalized. For example if I posted something like Faelar's picture on social media it wouldn't be surprising to have 50-80% of friends share it and relate to it.

I guess in the end it probably more has to do with the people I associate with and the way they handle their relationships compared to the rest of the world, but I just seem like it's way too normal for people to completely despise their Ex.

Edit: I don't know, I'm probably thinking too deep into it.

I suspect at least part of it is a instinctual defense mechanism to mask emotional pain. Don't miss what you liked in a person by really, really harping on what drove you apart.

Most of time feelings are hurt and makes it easy to burn all the bridges down! Or they can be completely crazy and threaten you a few times you have to go to the police! I usually say I dont like being friends with my ex's then I have one exception who is in my discord group :D

It's probably because most people have this silly idea that need to be in a relationship.

So, instead of stopping things as soon as its clear ***isn't going to work, they keep at it until they can't stand each other.
