An afterlife would be cool but I don't really see it happening either. I'm not really in a rush to confirm though, one day either I'll be proven wrong or my consciousness will dissipate into oblivion \o/.
Yeah.
Not to bring the R of P&R to RT, but something I've always said is that one thing people don't realize about some atheists is that we're not necessarily happy to be "unbelievers." I personally would love for there to be an afterlife full of happy happy joy joy times for eternity as long as I do my best to be a good person in life and am truly sorry for anything wrong I've ever done. And also that the truly vile will be punished for eternity.
But that's not really a very scientifically sound theory. And somewhat ironically, the same people who tried to get me into religion also taught me the much more grounded-in-reality concept of "wish in one hand and ***in the other and see which fills up first." Desperately wanting a thing does not make it so. This coming from the worst person ever.

Desperately wanting a thing does not make it so. My thing has always just been that I'm not going to live my life in fear of, or dedicate it to something that may or may not come after. Like I said I'm not looking to rush it, but when my time comes I'd rather go feeling that it will be a well earned rest not kicking and screaming for fear of the unknown. Should anyone be influenced by my death I'd rather they celebrate my life then morn. Prop me up in a corner and have a party rather then a funeral, then when everyone is good and drunk go dig a hole and throw me in it.
If there is another life to come after that I'll deal with it then, I've never been great about planning ahead anyways except with money. Though I'll probably be grumpy at having to get back up

I mean, you can do some really evil things in life, and then be reincarnated into something really shitty. Going all Godwin here, I hope that Hitler was reincarnated into Justin Beiber. The irony in all that would be super strong.

Quick, somebody get Sister Mary here! I'm just saying, people don't drive for miles to go to a place that is famous for their cake. It's a sweet loaf of bread with sugar paste on top, no matter how you slice it. Pie has so many varieties but cake can only go so far. Sorry, but cake is but a twinkle in pie's eye.

Pie also hasn't had multiple shows on the Food network based on its making.

I hate to break it to you, but there has been landmark court cases regarding the baking of one's cake. If you haven't heard about it, a bakery is going to the Supreme Court in determination of one couple's cake.
I don't see any pies getting that kind of judicial attention or media coverage.
Therefor, the Truth still stands.

They should be going to court to argue about how boring cake is. Verdict: a ***ton.
Oh look, you can make it look like Donald Trump's wig, how hilarious. Pie can hit you in the face with its intense flavors. Also, because it's technically a pie, we're also claiming pizza. Boom, double standard. Shove that in your cakehole.
I've actually been to that last place. They have a Jack Daniel's pecan pie that is heaven.

If you want to look at it as simply putting it in your mouth, masticating then swallowing it. Cake has more layers to it though, emotions caught up in it. A couple cutting their wedding cake together for instance, or a farewell gift. When someone sees a cake you made them and are brought to tears of joy it's a very special feeling. They can be comical (suprising a gay person with a fanged vagina cake is hilarious), they can be somber, they can be whatever you want because it's mother *** cake.
Pie is great don't get me wrong, but saying it's better is like saying someone is inherently a successful business person/good with money if they are rich.

Pie is great don't get me wrong, but saying it's better is like saying someone is inherently a successful business person/good with money if they are rich. Oh, you're bringing emotion into this? What's more iconic than getting a pie in the face? Not to mention, when has cake ever made it to the Billboard top 100 list? Ever heard of a little ditty called "Cherry Pie"? The cake is a lie and so is your weak argument. Also, pizza is waaaaay more iconic than people getting married or some prepubescent kid spitting all over a cake with a picture of a cowboy on it. So there.
Mag is talking like all he's ever had is white and chocolate cake... German chocolate = cake is chocolate, sugar paste just has coconut. Whoopty do.
Red Velvet = chocolate with food coloring.
Lemon = honestly the only cake I've had that was remotely interesting.
Rainbow = more food coloring.

It was a day like any other cold, snowy winter day. I awoke in my quarters, the slight glow of early morning sunlight shining in through my window. As I opened my eyes I saw a woman standing over me, she was a bit older than me, had brown hair. She was wearing a dark gray top with reddish-pink designs across the front.
I sat up and slowly got out of bed, this woman still staring at me. I slowly turn to her, my gaze meeting hers, and she finally speaks...
"Restoration is a perfectly valid school of magic, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!"
I sold her 210 dwarven arrows and we went our separate ways.

Bahaha
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
