-Red Mage is pure DPS.
-Red Mage's auto attack is Physical based, no more info will be divulged from there.
-We will get to know more about the job around next year, April or May 2017.
-Even though they have shown RDM to wield a Rapier and a Magicked Crystal, Weapon wise it counts as 1 (Meaning it's not like PLD), since their weapons merged when sheathing.
-Since FFXIV is a standalone title, they're setting up a new type of RDM for this game.
-Since RDM is mainly long range so that they are implementing specifications that there will be no disadvantages for auto attacks even at long range.
-RDM was decided fairly early in the development, since they received a lot of comments from all around the world that players wanted to use Red Mages in battle, along with their graphics too (in context, they want to be RDM).
-They chose RDM because they're returning back to roots and after going through the method of elimination process, RDM is the only thing that came up in their mind. (which makes sense since RDM has been in Final Fantasy since I).
-When the interviewer expresses surprise that RDM is a DPS and RDM could have being a healer as well, Yoshida commented that, even for the development team, RDM is a job that utilizes both White and Black magic so they thought by not making RDM containing those classic characteristics, it'll be pointless. They aim to bring out a new type of design while retaining the essence of the job.
-New jobs (singular or plural, didn't say. It could be one new job, it could be multiple) will be announce at Frankfurt.
-It has nothing to do with the Spiderman T-shirt.
-He knows that Spiderman is not directed by one person. (Note: 巣士 (read as Sushi) is not a valid word)
-It's up to your imagination.
-The information is now 50% announced.
-Frankfurt Fanfest will bring more surprised to everyone since the last half of the keynote containing new information, along with information about Patch 3.5 part 2 will also be held there too.

Garo collaboration
-Mainly PvP oriented. Get into PvP, leave some results, get points and use it to get event rewards.
-It's nothing like the previous Youkai Medal event.
-There will be no special motions for this event (as in emotes) because it might be overdone. The period of the event is said to be longer than Youkai Watch as well.
-Garo Mounts are achievement rewards.
Underwater actions (Swim, Dive)
-When asked will there be instance dungeon or underwater cities, "No comment"
-When asked whether we can swim at The Mist. "No comment for now"

Was hoping for the transformation emotes dammit. (y'A')y
Oh well, it's still gonna be great. :D
I'm curious though, did you just not know what the English word 'profanity' meant or is the concept of profanity not a thing in some countries?
To be fair it's an entirely made up construct based on an entirely made up construct. The fact that people still consider it a thing in 2016 should be very disturbing.
I thought it felt rushed. They could have spent more time explaining that troupe with Forest Whitaker. I had no idea what they were doing in the film. Maybe it's just me not enjoying how most movies are done, nowadays. I honestly could have used more exposition and character development, but when I left the theater, I overheard a group of guys saying "The first part was boring, but then it got good." I was thinking that I could've used a lot more of the boring part. Still, not bad. Better than Episode 1, that's for sure.
I really wanted to see more from those two temple guardian guys. They were awesome and so well developed.

I am no SW-fangrrl, but to my understanding, the chara of Saw Gerrera was originally introduced in the Cartoon Network animated series SW series "Clone Wars", so canonically-speaking his presence is a nod to that side-story. In fact, I believe he is the first-ever character brought into the main/cinematic storyline from one of the various animated Lucasfilm works (as opposed to the "expanded universe" characters featured in previous films.)
In terms of the actual story, though, I believe his role is to establish that there are/were various factions of Rebels, not all of which were diplomatic types but also insurgent/military types, as well. This point, I think, was further underscored later when the various Rebel leaders decided (albeit belatedly) to act together militarily--forming an actual "Rebel Alliance" as such, and making the efforts/decisions of the main characters that much more meaningful in the scope of SW "history" as a result.
And, of course, his cell's role was to provide cannon-fodder ground-pounders and disposable heroes for the "Where Eagles Dare" infiltration/combat-scenario. :p
This is a thread that I found on another website I post at. It can be really really interesting. I thought it deserved a place here.
Post your random thoughts for the day here, or anything else that intrigues you.
For starters, is it possible to give constructive critism to someone who doesn't have a neck? I totally just walked by a girl who didn't. Someone isn't getting a necklace for Valentines day!
And who decided black and white can't be colors? I want to say a racist. I really do.
