I'm borrrrrrrrrreeed. Kid is watching Dance with the Stars. I can't get into it. Hubby is playing CoD, it makes me throw up (frame rate gives me motion sickness...wtf). Blah. Maybe I'll just go put laundry away and go to bed.

Lol, if CoD makes you wanna puke, you should watch someone playing a WWII fighter flight sim, like Heroes over Europe or IL-2 Sturmovik..

I'm not particularly prone to motion sickness or anything, but some of the moves I end up pulling off make my stomach churn.

I tried to play it when he first got it. My um, monthly issues were a few days late. I got sick 3 nights in a row playing it. -_- Imagine how panicked and irritated I was when I took like 3 pregnancy tests, then figured out it was the game.

I'm sure I'll like it once I get used to the layout. it's just a LOT different than the last version. Reading damnyouautocorrect.com. It's too bad there's so much profanity there or I'd be posting a lot of those.

Yeah I've grown quite attatched to the newest Firefox, but it was kinda weird when looking at it, at first. But 4 has some nice features that I'm pretty sure weren't part of 3, although I can't remember for sure (like when someone posts a url but not as a hyperlink, you can just select the url and right click on it and select open in new window/tab instead of having to copy and paste).

It also runs a lot smoother for me. The old one used to lag, and not because of anything on my end (i7, 9GB DDR3 RAM, 6+MBPS internet connection) but this one doesn't seem to lag all that much.

Yah the first thing I did on Firefox 4 was to right click on the header and click/put the "Menu Bar" back in LOL. :p Navigation became a lot easier after that.

just got home and found my sisters car with a broken window :P so fun to wake everyone up :3

Anyways, just got done watching 'The Violent Kind'... Without a doubt one of the best B-movies I've seen in a year, if not ever. When I watch a B-movie I don't watch it for the special effects or actors obviously, otherwise it wouldn't be a B-movie. I watch it for the story..

It just has this weird way of breaking away from the typical slasher flick (which it presents itself as for the first half or more of the movie) to something deeper. Why that is weird, is because a slasher flick that 'tries to make sense at the end' is still just a slasher flick that tried to add in some underlying depth at the end, somehow, atleast for me, this movie just breaks that..

I mean I know this isn't the case, but if I didn't know better, I'd say the first half was written and directed by some run of the mill 'there's a million out there' college kids that have done 2 years in study relating to film and decided to make his own movie, then it shifts to someone with actual experience, for lack of a better word, the movie is a chameleon.

The ending is left wide open, and for the first time when it comes to B-movies, I'm anxiously looking forward to a sequel, even though the sequel wouldn't follow the same path (without giving to much away, let's just say the last 30 mins or so it becomes quite clear that humanity is doomed, the last 2 minutes only serve to confirm that, if there is a sequel, even if it follows the same story line, it will not be the hollywood idea of 'sequel', it would be more akin to a book.. Same characters, same overall premise, but nearly black and white different with out it plays out)..

On a side note, if I don't show up within the next 16 hours or so, it's because power is still off -.-.. I made a mistake, and thought yesterday was the 10th (you kinda lose track of dates when you don't have school/work) which is when the scheduled "we're shutting off your power to work on it" date.. Which is today.. In fact, they should be showing up in the next 3 hours.

i have 2 sisters :P yes my younger uses my car to go out most of the time but if i know im going to go out i take my car and she takes someone elses. my older sister has her own car that she takes to her full time jerb
